What’s sad is that NYC is going to have a sex pervert for mayor. No matter which loser wins.

A weiner tweeting Weiner. Or a carpert muncher about to marry another dyke.

The option I would have liked to see is:

“Only if the Weiner bursts into flames first”

I could have chose that option.

I’m conflicted...

On general principles I’d have to vote no, but given that it’s NYC, they deserve each other.

Between Carlos Danger and Spitzer, NYC deserves what ever they decide to elect. I have no doubt they’ll elect those scum.

I voted yes.

The people of NYC who support BloomingCzarburg and Obozo deserve another winner like the Weiner.

He represents the new normal, they love.

I used to live in Westchester county while in high school, and I also went to SUNY @ Stony Brook. I remember NYC from the days before Guliani. Hated going to NYC, Time Square and Grand Central terminal were cesspools. I remember NYC during early 2001... The restrooms in Grand Central terminal were CLEAN. No panhandlers on the streets. Crime was WAY DOWN.

I was back in NYC just over a year ago. It's heading back for the "bad old days." I have no wish to return.

I am conflicted too, for the same reasons. I think NYC and the Weiner deserve each other because they keep voting for idiots. I didn't vote, it's their problem.

The Weiner-meister does not deserve to be in charge of a city. He needs to put his weiner back in his pants and try to act like a decent human being, however, I don’t think he has the ability to do so.

The longer Anthony Weiner stays in the race, the harder it will be for another, more acceptable candidate to jump in and mount a winning campaign.

So, whatever the voters of NYC might think about Mr. Weiner’s sexual adventures, they should not forgive him for refusing to step down so that NYC can have a serious mayoral contest among serious candidates.

Forgiving is one thing...it's the forgetting part that should be asked.

And just because you forgive does not mean you forget.

EVERY American should forgive him....as are told to do by God. But we should NEVER forget this creep and his sinful actions. And that they DO matter, because he is applying for a PUBLIC position and therefore his character, morals, values and PERSONAL LIFE is ALL on the table. And I for one, am sick of that stupid argument, that what he does in his private life doesn't matter. You're damn right it matters. Because what a person does in their private life definitely seeps over into what they do in their public life.

I believe a wise man once said we must judge a man on his content of character, not the color of his shaft skin....

"not the color of his shaft skin...."

LOL!

No real evidence that he has changed. Just another lie, IMHO
