Earlier today while discussing why the Federal Government would want to pursue a "duty to retreat" in self defense cases a fellow FReeper responded: Stop, Drop, and Cower.
This gave me the idea for this handy brochure illustrating how to behave in an encounter with a government agent and is written from a low-level, bureaucratic-peon's viewpoint.
The new link doesn’t work for me but I am getting the revised version at the original link. My favorite line is still this one: “Plead for mercy from these angels of the only god that exists: the government.” I love that.
My suggestion, for what it’s worth, is to do another round of editing, and be really ruthless. I’d chop it down so that there’s only one or two ultra punchy sentences after each letter. I’d aim to keep them brief enough to fit in the space directly beside the letter without spilling into extra lines below.
Is your pastor white or black?
I'd suggest offering some helpful tips at the end, if nothing but a reminder to live to fight another day, rather than leaving the reader with those last sarcastic comments of all powerful overlords.
I think you're on to something that might come in handy to remember, in the not to distant future.
My pastor goes to Haiti quite a bit. When he is confronted by people who want to harm him, he goes stupid.

Great satirical content. It’s the kind that makes you shake your head in disgust, because although it is meant as irony, it’s also very close to the truth.
Also, I chuckled at null and void’s cartoon of the child hiding under his desk in case of nuclear attack. I grew up during that time and remember the drills well. It’s also one of the first things I thought of when I read the brochure. Then I scrolled down and voila!.....GMTA :-)
Yeah, well, the duck-and-cover drills had a special sense of urgency during the Cuban missile crisis and while attending school on a military base in the South East...

This is their real target - the mindset of self defense.
They DEFINITELY don’t want you getting it into your upitty little white head that you can and morally should stand up to thuggery, bullying, and tyrannical threats.
Then I just don’t see how playing stupid to some black that hates whites will get the job done. It works for him but I don’t think I’ll add his approach to my playbook.
I can understand that, especially since Cuba is only 90 miles from the Florida coast!

yup. they know how many blacks are thugs, they want them to be able to harass and victimize whites and everyone else without fear of a person defending themselves and losing. they don’t want law-abiding citizens to be able to defend themselves from the class of people in this country that is responsible for more violent crime and murders than any other group.
Haiti is a different world. They are a little afraid of Americans.
