How did Obama's Senate campaign know to look at Jack Ryan's divorce records? NSA?

Posted on 07/07/2013 5:10:01 PM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

Barack Hussein Obama has never won a fair election in his life. He wins elections by clearing the field and stuffing ballot boxes.

In his 2004 Senate election, he defeated Republican Jack Ryan by having his divorce records unsealed for no good reason other than his own political benefit.

The question is, how did he know that those records were so embarrassing?

Knowing what we know of the NSA at this point in time, I suspect that they gave him the information.

It might be useful to look at recent history through the prism of the NSA total information scandal.

But why would the NSA want a fascist moron to win anything, ever? Because he’s a statist, and they’re potential beneficiaries of believers in the big state?

Ryans divirce was no secret and it was rumored that he and his wife were swapping. I doubt that he had to use NSA for that, but certainly knows every dirty Chicago trick in the book , and he doesn’t mind using them. Look at what he did to Justice Roberts.

Just a suggestion, but I would encourage all to follow the Saudi money. It bought the UK and now has purchased a U.S. Presidency.

Too damn bad Egypt didn't get the memo.

At this point I think government works for the NSA.

It’s unlikely that anybody at the NSA would give the time of day to a junior state senator. However, it is certainly possible, and probable, that the state Democrats would be willing to maneuver somebody into key positions where they would have access to sensitive information about their opponents.

It is the saudi money that is an over riding factor.

How did Mitt Romney, with the full backing of the fastest-growing religion in America, big money donors, Karl Rove’s hundreds of millions and many millions of people sick to death of Mr. Obama, lose worse than John McCain four years prior to him?

It’s easy to do. You don’t need the NSA. Welcome to the Chicago Way. (I don’t mean to stick it to all you rubes out there, but this technique is ancient).

Why would the NSA help an obscure Illinois legislator?

True.

How complicated would it be to buy off a Chicago judge to unseal records?

My guess is not very hard.

I suggest as more likely culprits one of the attorneys involved or a court staffer.

I doesn’t have to be an official action, just that of one person. One person with access to info.

He didn’t defeat Ryan, Ryan imploded because he had a very public divorce with lots of rumored ugliness that eventually got exposed to be even uglier. Ryan withdrew, and got replaced by Alan Keyes who ran a terrible campaign.

Much like when J. Edgar Hoover had files on everyone in government, and used them to his advantage, so too the NSA has information that proves useful.

Divorces can be pretty nasty. There is a good chance that one can find nasty information about one’s opponent from divorce testimony. Also, the information may not be true either. One can be dealing with some extremely bitter players here.

Democrats have been entrenched in Illinois so long that something like the NSA is unnecessary for a small operation like this.

The Illinois bureaucracy has been completely infiltrated by libs. They dig up dirt on anyone who poses a threat without having to be directed.
