[VIDEO AT THE LINK] A man was caught on video going crazy at a Wendys after an employee mistakenly added cheese to his burger.
The Wendys customer is the latest to jump on the trend to reprimand an employee for a human mistake.
So.....why does this guy keep going to Wendy’s?
Good grief!
I kept waiting for the fist attached to a manager’s arm to enter stage right
Cheese Burger, Cheese Burger, Cheese Burger...No Hamburger
John Belushi!
The story makes it sound like this is some new “trend.” Its not. There have been A-holes who can’t deal with mistakes in an adult manner since the beginning of time. The difference is that they are now being caught on camera. If someone makes a mistake, ask them to correct it in a calm way. If the restaraunt makes the same mistake over and over, stop going to the restaraunt. Its as simple as that. People who go ballistic over things like this have inferiority complexes.
My question is Who doesn’t like cheese?
Hmm ~ not even a kosher issue ~ guy knew he was in a store that vended beef and milk at the same time! Shouldn’t have been in there.
Well, to be honest, while the customer clearly has anger management issues, I have, internally and quietly mind you, felt his pain while ordering fast food, and for some reason particularly at Wendy’s. I do not know why, but an order of any complexity (family of five, for example) just throws them for a loop. I always have to double check the order for correctness and completeness. In one instance, the youth with rainbow hair who was taking my order acted stunned that I would actually try to get the order corrected. He had moved on, so why couldn’t I. Now my breakfast at McDonalds almost always comes out right. Go figure.
“There’s no cheese in hamburger.” A simple, yet powerful truth.
I don't and I admit I've been irritated in the past when the burger joint has put cheese on my burgers, but I've yet to make a fuss over it.
What I find amazing is that I can have a complex order of 10+ items (some of them made special) and it usually always comes out right. Yet if I order one item there is a good chance they will screw it up.
To be fair, the food service industry has gone severely downhill in the last few years. So many of these restaurant servers and fast food flippers have literally “checked out” and do the bare minimum to make pay.
We have a joke in our family that any time my mother-in-law is with us when we go out to eat, we will get abysmal service, and it’s been the truth over the last year or so. I blame the servers in general, as they seem to not give a damn about the customer any more than they do socializing with friends or sitting on the back stoop smoking.
One recent outing to a Caribbean restaurant had us waiting over 15 minutes just for drinks and 45 minutes for our food after we ordered while other tables around us (different server) were seated, fed, and out the door before we even saw our entrees. It was the first time in my entire life that I didn’t tip, and I wrote, “Worst service I’ve ever experienced” on the receipt. I will never patronize that business again because one server was awful.
i like cheese.
Observant Jew trying to keep Kosher, I presume?
Could you imagine this guy getting a speeding ticket or receiving an audit letter from the IRS?
Trend? There’s no trend. It’s just called being a jerk.
Asians.
LOL! I didn’t know cheese haters existed.
