Mix it with 7 up, add some crystal light along with it.

Try to forget this next 24 hours. After the colonoscopy, it will be like a dream. Good Luck with everything!

I just spent several days with morphine shots every couple of hours.
I could taste it too.
I liked it, but I am home on occasional pills. I understand how someone could be a morphine addict. I had not a care in the world.

Actually, I did not think it was too awful.
Was not a whole hell of a lot of fun, but I have been through a lot worse.
Don't panic. All you really need is a couple of magazines in the craphouse (Cycle World and Guns and Ammo)and stay close for a while. Oh yeah, maybe an old wash cloth that you can throw away later. Good luck.

Interesting.. The two times I underwent the procedure, I was given a very mild sedative, the effects of which equate to a single glass of wine. I Maas awake the whole time.. The only challenge was when the probe had to negotiate a few hairpin turns.

Just someone to drive you home and do general anesthesia! You won’t notice a thing. Good luck!

My mother had cancer so instead of the usual 10 years between them they recommended every 5 years. Thus I have had 2 so far. The first time I was not put completely under. I only got a little something to take the edge off he said. So I was aware and did feel the tube snaking through me. It wasn’t painful but I could definitely feel it. The procedure lasted between 10 to 15 minutes so it was over fairly quick. Clean as a whistle he commented. Second time I was put under completely and indeed you don’t recall anything but the result was the same.

Hang on to the bowl the first few times; you’re going to generate some serious thrust, and if there is insufficient ballast you might get lift-off like a hydraulic Atlas III.
I’ve had two, probably another soon; no sedation and it hurt like the blazes when they drove that thing around a corner in there. Not looking forward to it again. Let ‘em slip you a Mickey Finn if that’s an option.

Did my first about 7 months ago. I was full of dread, but the prep wasn’t bad. The worst part was drinking the gallon of solution, but I just held my nose and chugged the glasses. The last couple of them were not easy to get down. The actual procedure wasn’t bad at all. They put me in la-la land, about 3/4 out; next thing I knew, I was waking up.

I hope you ate lightly the last 3 days....other than that...I drank some of the new vitamin drinks between bathroom dashes...keeps ya hydrated, and helps with getting the stuff down.
