Every stylish celebrity from the curvier gals like Beyonce, Christina Hendricks, and Kim Kardashian, to the skinny-minnies like Taylor Swift, Kate Moss, and Kirsten Dunst are rocking one-piece bathing suits, or "maillots." As a result, the rest of us are heading directly to department stores, boutiques, and affordable mass-market shops to scoop up similar styles. The New York Post found that one-piece swimsuit sales are up around 20 percent in local New York shops.

“Now, if those bloated German tourist guys would stop wearing Speedos wed be getting somewhere, geez its disgusting. Europeans in general seem to wear the things for some strange reason.”
Europeans have a more relaxed attitude to that sort of thing than Americans probably because their culture has been influenced by classical Greek ideas about the beauty of the human form.
That aside, point well taken that in a world inhabited by Nancy Pelosi and Rosie O’Donnell, modesty is sometimes a very good thing.
This must be the reporter because there is no name in the caption.
I had to quote your whole statement as I agree 100%. I think the new torchbearer for fat ass of the day would go do Kim Kardaqshian although they act like it is a good thing but it is disgusting. It's like they slapped a big ass from a fat 300# woman on a thinner woman's body.
To me that is disgusting. The weird thing is it is rumored to be fake, but why would a woman WANT a fat ass, when most women are usually insecure that they think guys will think they are too fat.
“I tell you whats not acceptable to me and thats thongs. The idea of having a piece of fabric lodged up your...nevermind.”
I used to work for a man who called thongs “butt floss”. Funny guy. He passed away, sadly.
OK there you have it, four bathing beauties, two in a two piece suite, and two in a one piece suite.
Which do you prefer?
C’mon guys and gals which is the least offensive?
The Greek Classicists no doubt failed to envision the behemoths that periodically hove into view on South Atlantic beaches. Cover it up, nobody wants to see that, lol.
Why are not all the comments showing? I can’t get past the first 10 posts but the scroll bar is at the farthest it will go.

In all fairness, ancient Greece had very few fat people.

The other thing that I can’t stomach is women with navel jewelry. That is the epitome of trashiness to me.
Waiting for Helen Thomas to appear...
***Helen Thomas and Rosie ODonuts do not come to beaches near you I take it?****
If they did there would be a peg legged man with a harpoon chasing them.
Bikinis will go out of style when girls do...of course, liberal men are homosexuals not interested in girls, and a metrosexual is just a homosexual that can’t get laid.
Cool...I always thought that bikinis are way too revealing and degrading towards women. I would never have a daughter of mine with those underwear looking things on for men to drool over! Yikes!
I had that EXACT poster on my wall when I was a teenager.
That is a classic commercial.
