Russian PM not joking – extraterrestrials live among us according to MIB documentary

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s off-air comments that Russian Presidents are given a secret file about extraterrestrials living among us created much media interest. Most news reports claimed that Medvedev was simply joking. His apparent reference to the Men In Black movie as a source of information on a super secret agency that monitors extraterrestrials on Earth was commonly cited as key evidence that he was in fact joking. The reasoning is that no political leader would refer reporters to a comedy to clarify national policy. It has now emerged that Medvedev was not referring to the Men in Black comedy after all, but to a recent Russian television documentary titled “Men in Black” that reveals many details about an extensive cover up of extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.

However, a more accurate translation of what Medvedev actually said about the Men in Black phenomenon was: “You can receive more detailed information having watched the documentary film of the same name.” So Medvedev was referring to a Russian “documentary film” titled Men in Black, not the Hollywood blockbuster by the same name...

Russian Men In Black (MIB) documentary, a number of prominent UFO cases in Russia and the USA are discussed. The Roswell UFO crash is covered, along with a number of extraterrestrial abduction cases, and UFOs disabling nuclear weapons facilities. The documentary examines testimony that extraterrestrial bases have been established on Earth, and that some are in restricted US military areas with the full knowledge of the Pentagon. The documentary even goes on to seriously discuss President Eisenhower’s alleged meeting with extraterrestrials, where agreements were reached with some of the visitors giving them permission to take some of the Earth’s resources in exchange for advanced technology...

no, only people in the boat was me. The hardware and tools and the boat though are gone. Would loved to have saved everything, including the boat but it’s just too obvious throwing hardware and tools over the side. The boat had to be sacrificed for the common good.

I'll preface my comments with the fact that I've never been pregnant, although I was there for the entire experience for all three of our children who lived, and the one who miscarried.

As far as I know, pregnancy is not an illness. Women delivered babies without going to doctors for a very long time? I understand there can be life-threatening complications, but I don't see why we use up valuable hospital space with maternity wards.

I think if I were going to design a system from scratch I would encourage the development of birthing centers that were located near hospitals and had emergency access to those hospitals when a life-threatening emergency occurred. But for the normal childbirths it would be far less expensive and far less stressful than going to a hospital.

If I were running such a center, I'd have lots of thick socks, warm bathrobes, skin creme, places for siblings-to-be to play, and a good atmosphere for friends and family to visit the laboring mother right up until the time when clothing becomes a bad idea.

For the record, Mrs. ArGee wouldn't believe she was in labor with our first, then took a long time to get ready to go. When we finally got to the (military) hospital she was 7cm dilated. Our son was born within 2 hours. THAT's the way to do it. Even though the hospital was positively barbarian with stirrups and silver nitrate and all sorts of horrible, antiquated things, it was the best L&D experience she had because most of it was at home.

The boat was a liability.
It knew too much.

Oh, come on. Boats don’t talk.

And I’m sure you knew enough about its internals that any black-box would not have escaped your notice and been left to record real data.

LOL.
This being the Undead Thread, we have many tales and or short stories dealing with innocuous objects or technology going haywire.
I as of yet have not written about a boat taking the occupant for a little ride yet.
But the idea is floating around out there so to speak.

My first grandson was born at Davis-Monthan AFB, by a Midwife (military) in a birthing center. It was all low key, and I was there for the Blessed Event. It was awesome. I was the first civilian to hold that baby!

Las Vegas Valley has several birthing centers, and though they are “attached” to hospitals, they do lessen the stress. And you are correct: pregnancy is NOT an illness, although during the first trimester, the body seems to think so!

How can you be sure of anything, especially a boat that doesn't talk. Do not worry FRiends, there are no cameras or microphones, and there are definitely no talking boats. Heard this morning my computer was spying on me. Everyones computer is spying on everyone. Someone said I could turn it off but am doubting is possible. Who can trust anyone on the TV to tell the truth. I remember a show once called ... To Tell The Truth. iirc ... it was hosted by Gary Moore. The object was to find out who was telling the truth. Ever think that is what we do every day. The machines are alive. The machines know before I can type it.

Is a great idea. The technology not winning is tricky. Last conversation me had with a boat was sunk before commenced. Somewhere that boat is laughing and riding on top of the water and is working to sink me and mine. It goes with the territory. Once had a Pastor who preached the evils of TV, boating, and a whole host of evils. Good thing he never met a computer. Can imagine the sermons. And me likes computers.

More like an invasion.

I did my USAF service from 82-86 at awful Offutt. With all the hospitals in Omaha I could never figure out why most of us didn't get CHAMPUS rather than that hospital whose administration seemed stuck in the 1950s.

82-86. The bad - we were ground zero for a Russian nuke attack and sure to die. The good - Ronald Reagan had just been elected President and we could be proud to do our job.

Plants have it out for us as well.
Something I wrote a long time ago:

The vines twisted around slightly and hissed. The dog had just gone by and ... used the ground in an offensive manner! The ivy shudddered, mammals.. such disgusting creatures! The mailman came up the stoop humming to himself at the same moment that the ivy couldn’t take it anymore.
Tendrils shot outward! Tearing and rending bone and sinew! Roots took hold and amid the crackle of bone, the ivy ate. A sudden thirst for the blood of moving creatures filled the ivy with rage. First, though, the dog must pay...

Yes, the dog must pay..

The 80s were years when one could be proud to be an American. Now if one is proud to be an American, someone will sic a machine on one which is proud to be an American.

Thank you for your service ArGee. Great and wonderful times during the 80s. Can say it is a time (the 80s) miss immensely. Thank you for the exchange of conversation.

My generation (familial) was the first one to not serve in the military in over 250 years, but the three girls (moi included) married into the military, and two of us had children who served. My eldest grandson has also served in Afghanistan.

I have been, and always will be, proud to be an American, though I’m ashamed of our POTUS, the lying traitor. But don’t get me started!

Reminds one of the old saying ... Every good dog has a good kick coming, or no good deed goes unpunished. Man's best friend cannot compete with leaders that eat the dog or cat. Ivy is slow to grow, but consumes all in its path. Too much reminiscing going on of the 80s. Must be off ... there are more talking boats to sink. Good Luck everyone! Don't let the machines win.

Even better, I could rewrite it to include gentically modified kudzu.
See you later on.

gentically modified kudzu

That is a scary thought. The quick growth of a genetically modified kudzu with the strength of life in ivy. The planet would be completely covered over in a year or less.

Leave it to you, Darksheare to scare one senseless. God, please do not allow Darksheare to genetically modify kudzu. Amen.
