Something I wrote a long time ago:
The vines twisted around slightly and hissed. The dog had just gone by and ... used the ground in an offensive manner! The ivy shudddered, mammals.. such disgusting creatures! The mailman came up the stoop humming to himself at the same moment that the ivy couldn’t take it anymore.
Tendrils shot outward! Tearing and rending bone and sinew! Roots took hold and amid the crackle of bone, the ivy ate. A sudden thirst for the blood of moving creatures filled the ivy with rage. First, though, the dog must pay...

Reminds one of the old saying ... Every good dog has a good kick coming, or no good deed goes unpunished. Man's best friend cannot compete with leaders that eat the dog or cat. Ivy is slow to grow, but consumes all in its path. Too much reminiscing going on of the 80s. Must be off ... there are more talking boats to sink. Good Luck everyone! Don't let the machines win.
