We have foreigners who shoot at our club at times. There is no law against foreigners buying ammo nor should there be.
You are clueless when it comes to the 2A.....like that question will stop any criminal from getting ammo!
Maybe you should articulate why this has offended you. I will admit that I’ve never seen such a question when purchasing ammo, yet not sure it is offensive.
I doubt it was intended to stop any illegal from buying ammo. It was more than likely a nod from their legal department to distance themselves fro an illegal shooting up said place. a liability thing.
Yeah, I suck.
Was this a customer survey, or a law enforcement barrier that you had to navigate?
I don’t see an attempt to stop foreigners. I don’t see a Second Amendment threat. I see a store trying to monitor activities of foreign citizens. I’m not opposed to this — it’s a property rights thing. The folks who own the store can ask anything they want — and you, of course, are free to shop elsewhere if you so choose.
IIRC, the US Constitution applies to its citizens. If a non-citizens wishes to purchase and has to answer a question, there is no inherent violation of the 2nd Amendment.
All Men may be created equal, but the 2A to me is only for Citizens.
Your ‘foreigners’ should be subjected to the same ‘controls’ that foreign countrys place on American Citizens. This country is not for foreigners; it is for ‘citizens’.
Read my response to your post #1.
The question was "Are you a US citizen"? Are you getting 'illegals' and 'foreigners' mixed up?
like that question will stop any criminal from getting ammo!
That question should have been asked MORE OFTEN years ago and written in English only!
Should illegal aliens be allowed to demonstrate for “equal rights?” Why is the 2nd Amendment treated differently than the others?
Our 2nd amendment is to protect OUR rights, not foreigners rights, and the truth is we are damn kind to foreigners here.
No one would but Jose or HoseB in the Hoosegow for shooting at the pistol range.
