Where do you find it? Yet we have the greek and hebrew from which those translations come from. So here's the greek - tell us where the mistranslation comes from -

Perhaps you can do better than your master did "translating" Genesis 1 -

“they look at words rather than the holy spirit that is the SOURCE” translated, it is not what Scripture actually says in words but what a spirit says when you engage in Masters eastern mediation.

And just considering that this highly subjective and autocratic means is their basis for truth, and in which Scripture comes second and after is dispensable, should give us who have studied God words in Scripture “cold shivers, occasional perspiration, and labored or heavy breathing!”

Turn around, go back, and read what is written there. "It is finished". "You have reached your destination". That's what God said when Christ died for your sins on that Cross, was buried, and rose again the third day. The Cross IS the DESTINATION. I beseach you in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God. He made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we may be made the righteousness of him. NOW is the acccepted time, now is the day of salvation. 2 Cor. 5:2.

No..not true. The spirit was there through word of mouth before they compiled the new testament and Jesus needed no book to express the good spirit. You guys use the bible as a cruth and it is not a deep faith to have to rely upon it for which all the early Chritians had not. It is the spirt spirit spirit that speaks and acts through people that awakens it in others. It is alive and the bible or other great books are simply a written testamony of that alive holy spirit. This all sounds so much like 'God loved us so much He didn't send us a book'...which of course allows charismatic so called authorities to peddle the vain imaginings of their own carnal mind as gospel.

You did not refute anything that I wrote really. My point is that the early Christians did not have the new testament and neither did Jesus. Yes, he referred to the old testament as he taught as and taught Jews as well as all others. But he did not NEED those scriptures, because he was spirit filled. He expounded and spoke extemporaneously, just as we should. But you guys really are not so, you are stuck in the written word and are not full of new and amazing personal insights. Too busy learning what other bright souls have written. You just don’t get it, and neither do your compatriots. Too bad, you are missing an awesome life that was very much the life of the early Christians. You are all a bunch of rusty , intellectual, learned repeaters of the written word. Dry as a bag of bones. And no, that is not a judgment, but simple observation and I have no idea if any of you will really wake up and I feel no annoyance at all at your phoney righteousness.

And insights given by the holy spirit when we are not caught up in our thoughts and imaginations, of course are what we need....but Roy does not go about and call the rediscovered Be Still holy. You guys really are ridiculous in your misjudgment of a noble teacher.

Not at all and someone with all of your resourceful research abilities should know better. Shame on you. This is an excerpt from a Col . Monaco about how it works. Very different than eastern types...
How It Works

Imagine that you have gone to the movie theater and we are sitting together. As the movie begins, you get caught up in the action and, before you know it, you’re living the movie. Lost in the imagery of the movie, you feel the action and react to the excitement of a kiss, a chase, or a fall.

If I hit your arm and you react to me, it breaks the imagery of the movie and you remember that you’re in the theater. Not only is the imagery of the movie broken, so is the emotional bond that held you. The power of the imagery fades away into nothing.

The Be Still & Know exercise works on the same principle. Simply put, it breaks the endless loop of thought sustained by emotional energy. It sets you free from re imagining the trauma again.

Your thoughts rage into a battle, keeping you confused, lost and emotionally charged, and worse yet, causing you to seek escapes (to feel better, e.g., drugs, alcohol, sex, outbursts).

Being aware is effortless. There is nothing to study, nothing to learn. Just be still, aware, and the reoccurring images with their assorted pains wither away.

All you have to do is sit in a straight-backed chair and listen to the exercise. The narrator, Roy Masters, walks you through it.

(As you sit, you’ll become aware of your hand and it’ll tingle just a bit until a thought pulls you away and the tingling stops. It’s a mini-battlefield between being in the Movie [caught up] or the Audience [aware].)

Day-by-day this simple Exercise breaks the shackles of your mind, and you’re no longer reliving the past. As you see it, and watch it, the thought will simply fade away.

Mr. Masters’ exercise delivers results. It is not an escape just to make you feel better. It is designed to set you free; empowered.

Yes, often..but the spoken word is more powerful than the written but you are stuck on the bible as your sort of base...rather than the holy spirit. If you would do the latter, you would be a speaker of that word, helping to awaken people and not just using other bright souls past written word to bear on life.
