Please forgive me if all of this sounds ridiculous... But I have spent a little time viewing clips from this "Innocence of Muslims" film. It is so astonishingly poorly acted and produced that I cannot even compare it to the worst student movies I have ever seen.... And I have produced, directed, and SEEN a lot of junk in formats from Super8 to 35 and up.
The piece is almost unbelievably bad. Unbelievably - as in - nothing I have ever seen from the West is this bad, this poorly edited, acted, written, lit, greenscreened. The piece is a parody of itself!
So - All I am left with is some kind of comparison, and, the only comparison I can draw is with the sort of stuff I have seen produced by radical Mohammedans themselves via Palestinian Media Watch, CAMERA, etc. You know, the scenes where the pink Jihad bunny tells the kids to kill lots of Jews before Ramadan so they can get lots of chocolates. That stuff is LAUGHABLY poorly done, and I hate to say it but... It looks just like this! Thoughts?
The DNC had a limited budget.
I wonder if it wasn’t produced by Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and National Security as a disinformation project.
If I remember correctly, the Danish cartoon incident was spiked up my Muslims adding in far more inflammatory cartoons and distributing them widely. You could be right, that this is all done inside Islam to whip people up into making 9/11 attacks.
The train bombings in Spain were supposedly retaliation for Muslims being thrown out of Spain in 1532 (or whenever that was).
An internet hoax by the jihadists and our government fell for it? That is worse than shameful. It reminds us of the many instances of aggrieved homosexuals who have slurs written on their doors or persons by “homophobes”....and are revealed later to have done it themselves.
If our government is really this gullible in our dangerous world, we are sunk.
No, it is a nuanced stylistic art house production showing the absurdity of Mohammedanism by its overt simplicity.
So far it looks like a Middle Easterner, supposedly a Coptic Christian, and a really flaky, devious, unscrupulous, whacked out activist, and criminal weirdo.
Per the above article, the guy was a scam artist....
“...retaliation for Muslims being thrown out of Spain in 1532...”
Granada fell in 1492 just before Columbus sailed. The Conquistadors of the next generation were skillful due to the military experiences/culture of the Reconquest.
Hmmm...interesting...
>>Where did such a pathetic film come from and why? My guess: the film was created as a provocation by the Muslim Brotherhood. It certainly didn’t come from our side.<<
Irrespective of how badly it was made (in one day from what I heard), the film is FACTUAL in its protrayal of the beginning of islam and its mongrel dog of a founder muhammed (may he burn in hell with ham hocks to his ears forever).
Just this week:
CRUCIFIX MASTURBATION FILM WINS Venice Film Festival
http://www.catholicleague.org/crucifix-masturbation-film-wins/
The DNC made and DNC/YouTube released anti muslim flick is fake.
It’s purpose is to take focus off of US economy.
Supposedly it was made by Copts. It opens with a scene of Muslims destroying the clinic of a humane Christian doctor and killing or knocking out a young Christian woman.
Then the doctor, I think, starts telling the story of how Islam began to a young girl. After that it got so unwatchable I quit after the oral sex exorcism scene. It’s so lame as to have no purpose but to anger Muslims - it’s not effective mockery, it’s not convincing argument, it’s just lame and offensive.
And it looks like a great way to get Copts killed in Egypt. Why would Copts make this movie? Blood of martyrs to nourish the Church?
The fervor was directed and designed to whip up the mob into a frenzy to coincide with 9-11 AND (it increasingly looks like) a coordinated planned attack using the mob as cover.
Egypt, Libya and Yemen cannot even pretend to have a free press.
The Egyptian President, who was quick to tell us that WE needed to do something about some nut making a glorified home movie about Muhammad, quite infamously cracked down on any semblance of independent media in Egypt.
There is a reason why this obscure movie became MUCH MORE FAMOUS in the Middle East than it would have otherwise EVER have been in America (where we at least value good production professionalism) - and that is because the governments in Egypt, Libya and Yemen WANTED it to be famous.
They acted as the publicity agents for this obscure home movie - then tell US that we have to do something about it.
How about if WE tell THEM to shut the hell up about what some obscure nutbag does in America?
They incite a riot on 9-11 using this obscure home movie as the flimsiest of pretexts - and our media plays along either blithely unaware of or entirely uninterested in the fact that nobody in the Middle East (or anywhere else for that matter) would have ever heard of the film if not for the publicity given to it via full and direct approval of the governments of Egypt, Libya and Yemen.
Yes it was juvenile to say the least, but look who is rioting over it, certainly not Islamic rocket scientists. Mullahs Sheiks, Ayatollahs, need job security so what ever works to keep them in business works for them.
bump
I had pretty much the same reaction yesterday. It’d take a lot of money and influence to pull this off...not meaning the production values of this sham film, but the massive funds that must have been needed to hire fake directors and producers, fake screenings, etc...
Who do we know with that kind of pull on the left?
George Soros.
This was planned to enrage the Muzzies, then they cause a ruckus, then Obama could have appeared as if he’s being tough on terrorists. The major backfire here though was Chris Stevens’ death, so now there’s a scurry of evidence-destroying and evidence-planting going on to hide the likely Soros connection.
I think this Steve Klein guy was brought in to be the fall guy for the whole mess.
