and breakfast...
...and “Where’s our treats??”
...and “Your pants leg is tasty today; too.”
...and “No; we REALLY don’t want to get our hooves trimmed today.”
Treats? Ain't that a peach?
My Uncle used to live on lake Powell, he loved it there but my Aunt found the place to be to remote for her liking.
I’m in my Uncles camp.
Wish I could see yall

Have fun!
You know, there was a time when I thought being poor meant not having the money to add a new room on my house, or trade my 'old' five year old truck for a new one. In those days, when my bank balance got below $2,500, I felt like I was flat broke. I used to think nothing of closing the shop for five days and taking the wife and kids on a three day trip for fun.
We were never rich, but we were solidly middle class. We worked hard for it, and enjoyed the fruits of our labors.
Seems like it was all a dream to me now.
I don’t think they’ve ever had a peach.
But they do like to get let out of the pasture every couple of days to clean up the apples that have fallen to the ground.
(I’m not about to let them know I have some grapes out back!)
Agreed!
Re: the video - I've not visited the Wave; but it's on my bucket list.
The deer haven’t been after the peaches but they do get into the apples. The peach tree hadn’t produced fruit in its’ first five years but WOW! These are really good. There will be some happy Freepers on Saturday night.
Peach pie or peach cobbler? Anybody have a good recipe? We’ll give you center stage!
Nothin’ like a Utah peach!
I’m thinking of coming, but I have to be back home Sunday afternoon, so I would only be there Saturday. What time does it start? Do we need to bring anything, and are you asking for donations?
This year has been absolutely GREAT for fruits and veggies. A friend has been making peach jam for 2-3 weeks now and I’m all peached out but....
deer? did I mention my butchering skills???
and old Grock is one heck of a BBQ’r...
oops, to 93
We will meet early on Saturday at the coffee shack for morning coffee. I suspect it will be about 9:00 am. Later that morning Pete-R-Bilt and Glock Rocks will set up a shooting range on the back thirty. We will have an afternoon of lunch and talk with Jim and others at the historic property. We’ll have dinner that night starting about 6:00pm.

I have about fifteen pounds of Pork Country style which I will do a Dutch Oven approach also with Coq au Vin using chicken thighs. If the corn is still on we’ll add that to the menu. We’ll do tomatoes with buffalo cheese and basil.
I hope the peaches are not too far gone as they are ripening fast.
Should be a great time.
Tish, that's french!
There wll be a caravan of Northern Utahns drifting towards your locale Friday evening. We can sleep on your lawn, yes?
Stay tuned ... pics on the hoof ...
