One of these days... I am going! I can only imagine what a great time you all have. Have fun! (I am hoping for perfect weather for all of you).

To: Utah Binger
I may be in St. George around that time.
I will try and make it there if I am.
Any additional details about the festivities would be appreciated.
What to bring or ???

We will have a detailed description posted soon. Jim will be here on Saturday all day with Thunderbird Coffee in the morning and lunch at the historic property. We will have a dinner of country style pork ribs and chicken, dutch oven style. Corn on the cob if still available.
On Sunday morning we will have sunrise services in the headquarters building.
Spread the word!

This is not far from a historical site of interest to conservatives. On the last day of his presidential campaign in 1964, Senator Barry Goldwater gave his final speech at the Kanab airport. Goldwater had a tradition of starting his campaign on the steps of the Yavapai County Courthouse in Prescott, Ariz., and concluding it in Fredonia, Ariz., jst over the line from Kanab.
In 2008, I talked with a librarian in Kanab who had attended Goldwater’s 1964 speech.

We are located on Highway 89 on the east side of Zion National Park. We will have lots of good coffee on Saturday and Sunday morning with a Dutch Oven approach for dinner Saturday night. We will have Sunrise services on Sunday morning with Jim. Just quiet talk and music. During the day on Saturday we will set up a shoot site on the back forty, Glock Rocks and Pete-R-Bilt will most likely set that up. We will do lunch at the historic site,
 Maynard Dixon Living History Museum.
