Hi, I somehow missed your reply for 2 days. I just found it. You were through quite a trying time with your dog. It’s been 2 years since we had to euthanize a dog and he was a rescue. We added another rescued dog a few weeks afterwards. We do enjoy taking in needy doggies. We’ve had 3 puppies and 2 rescues over the years. I am starting to like the adult rescues best. It’s nice to have a dog come to you already housebroke and over the chewing phase that puppies have.
Have a good night.

The strange thing with Teesha is she never limped or showed any pain at all. Did fine on walks with me and my Lab Pepper....I could not live without a dog so I told Pepper she better not die until I do...we are both old...starting with a puppy to house train is a big no for me...not patient enough to house break a dog. A vet caused pepper to go deaf with the medicine I put in her ears and didn't know it was the medication until I took her to another vet along with the medication she was on....looked it up on the net and it causes about 20% deafness. Several freepers have asked me the name and they looked it up also but by the time the dog is deaf, it is too late to do anything about it....She then developed SARD (I think those are the right letters...she went blind in 3 days with it...it can cause blindness within 12 hours in some dogs...no known cause, the rods and cones in the back of the eye just suddenly atrophy and there is no cure.(Stands for Sudden Atrophy retinal disease...rare, about 4000 cases in the US last year....but she does well only I can never rearrange the furniture..she walks the walls to get around the house and when she comes to no wall, she knows its a room....Her nose helps her find me and the kitchen and her food...she is a sweet old gal....you have a great week also.. I let her out on her chain and she knows where to do her business and wakes me up every morning by finding which side of the bed I am on and just keeps flipping my legs arms etc. like a dog does when they want you to pet them...she is a stinker in that way....LOL

Imitate The Good
September 11, 2012
Most people would agree that life is a painful mixture of good and bad. Its true in marriage, friendship, family, work, and church. Yet we are surprised and disappointed when self-centeredness takes the stage within a fellowship of those who seek to worship and serve Christ together.
When the apostle John wrote to his friend Gaius, he commended the truthful living and generous hospitality of those in his church (3 John 1:3-8). In the same fellowship, however, Diotrephes, who wants to be head of everything (v.9 Phillips), had created an atmosphere of hostility.
John promised to deal personally with Diotrephes on his next visit to the church. In the meantime, he urged the congregation: Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God (v.11). Johns words echo the instruction of Paul to the Christians in Rome: Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Rom. 12:21).
In a heated conflict, we may be tempted to fight fire with fire. Yet John urges us to turn away from what is bad and follow what is good. This is the pathway that honors our Savior.
For Further Study
Be patient and humble in conflicts (Rom. 12:12-21; Gal. 6:1).
Follow the guidelines in Matthew 18:15-18
with the desire to restore erring fellow Christians.
As light overcomes darkness, goodness can overcome evil.
