(((((Dolly)))))
I am glad you posted. This is where we met. This has been a particularly rough week for you, hasn’t it. I’m so sorry. I am praying for you. I so enjoyed meeting you in Columbus. I hope we can do it again. I’ll have to try to get north. We have some friends, and relatives, in the northern regions (aka anywhere there is SNOW!) to whom we owe visits. We’ll plan it during the next furlough.
Love, love!

Those Tennessee Walkers are great horses! Speaking of weather, we are already having cool mornings and its so hard to keep the house comfortable. Hate to mess with the heat this early in the season. Guess I’ll use those 2 little room heaters just for the section that I’m in most of the time. Its terrible to turn the main heat on for this big house so the little heaters will suffice for now.
Just not posting pictures for several months, my brain was in a turmoil when I first started to do a picture today although it soon came back BUT I just forgot about doing a frame today. Didn’t want to tax my brain too much..LOL!
CHEERS TO YOU! ((((HUGS))))
What a colorful and beautiful graphic, dear Kitty! Thank you so much!!! You are so kind and I appreciate you! ((((HUGS))))
They are so precious, Meg, and my, they’re growing fast!
They are! Thank you, jaycee.
;o)
In case you missed it..I got to see them Labor Day Weekend

I had to give in and use our furnace since last week. We had freezing temps already. The house got too chilly. It’s a little house at least. We are getting replacement windows soon and that will help. I’ve been hanging weather proofing window treatments for many years. We finally decided to get new windows. No more plastic. Will help in summer to keep the cold inside too.
My brain has been over taxed too. Got a brain fog going on lately. Must be “the change”. Grr. Making me feel lousy. Will talk to the doc about it in a week. I hate feeling so out of it.
Cheers anyway!
: )
Aw! They’re the cutest things ever! They could win a baby photo contest. No kidding.
Thanks for the picture!
I did get to see them. While I wasn’t posting, I did get on here some days to see everyone’s posts and graphics when I felt like it. I was so glad to see them and also very happy to see “our Meg”. You look really great! Very attractive!! Isn’t it funny how we finally get to see someone that we feel like we know so well and can’t imagine what they look like!!
It looked like you were thoroughly enjoying those darling babies! It is so much fun.
We’ve had our replacement windows quite a while now and they are wonderful. I’ll never forget when I got these new windows, my good friend told me that I would still hate cleaning windows.....AND SHE WAS RIGHT! LOL!
I have been feeling lousy, too, and still do! Thats why I just quit posting for several months and still don’t feel like being on here much. Still feel lousy!
I am glad you mentioned how much you like your windows. I can’t wait to have them put in. Will be done in the next 4 weeks.
Well, I guess we can both feel lousy together. You know what Tammy Wynette used to say, “sometimes it’s hard to be a woman.” Still trying to LOL through it all!
I did make a postitive move, and I am in new member classes at my Grama’s church. I go every Wednesday night until the middle of November. I’ve been taking her to church for over a year and I felt such a calling to become a member.
Lately I am remembering the scripture “A bitter spirit drieth the bones but a merry heart doeth wonders like a medicine”. I am trying to have a merry heart.
In my study for the class, I was led to the story of Mary and Martha last night. So now I am also trying to be a Mary at the feet of Jesus, rather than a Martha worrying about things that don’t matter a hill of beans compared to the eternal love and salvation of Jesus.
I need a lot of scripture to get me through menopause (sorry to the male readers, it’s TMI).

You can learn a lot by walking with others through tough times. Thats been the case for us as our friends Sam and Carol have trudged through Sams cancer journey. For a year we watched and prayed as he endured the treatment and the pain. And just when it seemed he was in the clear, a new diagnosis reported more cancer.
The disappointment was obvious. Year two would look a lot like year one as Sam would have to go through the chemo and the sickness and the side effects all over again.
But when Sam told us about what he faced as more months of treatments loomed, he said something we can all learn from: We want to make sure that through it all God gets the glory and we reflect His love to others. Imagine that! As he faced another year of pain and struggles, Sams first priority was to show Gods love through it all. He was anticipating the time when Gods glory is revealed (1 Peter 4:13).
Carol wrote to friends, It has been a year of trials, but God has always pulled us through with His mercy and grace. May we never take our eyes off Him and His love for us.
What mountains do you face? Like Sam and Carol, you too can depend on Gods grace to get you through. Pray also that you might reflect His love.
Read: 1 Peter 4:12-16
Powerful lesson, today..Thank you, Rus.
