Being a Catholic, I can imagine if Romney was of my faith, the attacks on him and my Church would be much the same; probably listing all the Priests who have been caught up in pedophilia scandals.
BTW, I wonder which religion has more assets: Catholics or Mormons?
Natch, nothing is ever said about Dear Leader's 20 years listening to the rabid, racist, HATE-Whitey/America, Rev Wright and his "Liberation Theology."
OR, B. Hussein Obama appeasing, defending, supporting the practitioners of the "Religion of Pieces" (OUR SWORN ENEMIES) and they who have vowed to DESTROY our Republic and replace our Constitution with Sharia.
Ah yes...
The Tolerant Left.
Liberals are Vile, Hateful and desperate people.
I am a Catholic who pretty much disagrees with Mormons up and down the line, except for to the degree that their religion proscribes behavior consistent with natural law (pro-life, etc.)
I certainly have absolutely no use for Romney whatsoever and will not be voting for him.
This cover looked like a bad attempt at satire. It is unfair to Mormons, but it is also to me offensive because it is using an image of Our Lord to make fun of Mormons.
On top of that, why should Business Week, of all publications, care if a religion flush with cash manages to find ways to legally use it without being liable for taxes on said use? Why does it matter if it is a Polynesian amusement park? Disney et al are happy to wrest tax concessions when they can get them. I don’teven hold it against Rush Limbaugh that he likes investing in tax free munis. Hey Business Week, it is going back into the economy. It’s all good. Except Burger King, that has gone way downhill since the decession hit.
At its core the Democrat party is atheist, and so it doesn't matter what religion a GOP candidate practices. That religion is going to take a beating from the Democrats and their "mainstream" newsrooms.
2) Bloomberg is a statist, fascist elitist bastard in the mold of Mussolini. Of course he wants Obama back in.
I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be Jesus, or Joseph Smith.
see post 6
I agree with your sentiments. I do not read this garbage magazine.
Really?
You don’t know anything about mormonism apparently.
Not one person has said they can not practice their religion - no one.
The exposure of mormonism is painful for them because who they really are is being laid bare.
Name one person who has said they hate mormons, just one.
You make the claim, prove it.
Just for your edification mormonISM exposure is what is at hand, maybe you should learn about it before you defend it.
In the process you will find out what mormonISM teaches about Catholics.
mormonISM is not pro-life. There maybe some mormons who are, the foundation is not.
>>>> “ At its core the Democrat party is atheist, and so it doesn’t matter what religion a GOP candidate practices. That religion is going to take a beating from the Democrats and their “mainstream” newsrooms. “ <<<<<
First they came for the Catholics, then they came for the Mormons, and then......(we know the rest)... and that it certainly applies here.
Having said that, we outsiders do not know exactly what the Mormon faith believes higher up in the ranks, except that Jesus is not the Christ, but a nice guy, a prophet of some kind, and that Joseph Smith is the man.
This “kalob” thing was bound to bring out the media sooner or later, even if for laughs, and the wealth seeking angle as a godly mission to advance the religion seems to serve as the start. They will get to the funny, ridicule worthy stuff later.
But, Lancey, I agree, leave them alone. America has never been about suppression. I mean look at us, we moan about anything and stop nothing. See example: Muslim mosques going up everywhere, cities and small bergs, with their stated goal at attracting Americans and taking over whole nations by force, or by patient proselytizing.
Evil is now good and good is evil, and the rest of us are confused. The Enemy is at work.
...but it is also to me offensive because it is using an image of Our Lord to make fun of Mormons.
In case you didn’t know, John the Baptist himself appeared to both Joseph and Oliver Cowdery. IMHO that is the two people kneeling. John the Baptist himself gave them the keys to the priesthood that is critical to get to the highest “Level III” of heaven. No one else gets there except Mormons.
“I, too, am disturbed by a business publication going after, in rather brutal fashion, the religion of a candidate for President. “
Actually, since the mormon church is about business - shopping malls, Hawaiian resorts, etc. - and Mitt is a businessman running for Pres., it makes perfect sense.

Be the FIRST ROMNEY supporter (I mean ABO person) to post about all the businesses that ISLAM runs!
Why is it?
Do you not realize that MORMONs really wait on their god to tell them what to do??
Usually through what their Living Prophet® says??
In conclusion let us summarize this grand key, these Fourteen Fundamentals in Following the Prophet, for our salvation depends on them.
1. The prophet is the only man who speaks for the Lord in everything.
2. The living prophet is more vital to us than the standard works.
3. The living prophet is more important to us than a dead prophet.
4. The prophet will never lead the church astray.
5. The prophet is not required to have any particular earthly training or credentials to speak on any subject or act on any matter at any time.
6. The prophet does not have to say Thus Saith the Lord, to give us scripture.
7. The prophet tells us what we need to know, not always what we want to know.
8. The prophet is not limited by mens reasoning.
9. The prophet can receive revelation on any matter, temporal or spiritual.
10. The prophet may advise on civic matters.
11. The two groups who have the greatest difficulty in following the prophet are the proud who are learned and the proud who are rich.
12. The prophet will not necessarily be popular with the world or the worldly.
13. The prophet and his counselors make up the First Presidencythe highest quorum in the Church.
14. The prophet and the presidencythe living prophet and the First Presidencyfollow them and be blessedreject them and suffer.
I testify that these fourteen fundamentals in following the living prophet are true. If we want to know how well we stand with the Lord then let us ask ourselves how well we stand with His mortal captainhow close do our lives harmonize with the Lords anointedthe living ProphetPresident of the Church, and with the Quorum of the First Presidency.
