At its core the Democrat party is atheist, and so it doesn't matter what religion a GOP candidate practices. That religion is going to take a beating from the Democrats and their "mainstream" newsrooms.

First they came for the Catholics, then they came for the Mormons, and then......(we know the rest)... and that it certainly applies here.
Having said that, we outsiders do not know exactly what the Mormon faith believes higher up in the ranks, except that Jesus is not the Christ, but a nice guy, a prophet of some kind, and that Joseph Smith is the man.
This “kalob” thing was bound to bring out the media sooner or later, even if for laughs, and the wealth seeking angle as a godly mission to advance the religion seems to serve as the start. They will get to the funny, ridicule worthy stuff later.
But, Lancey, I agree, leave them alone. America has never been about suppression. I mean look at us, we moan about anything and stop nothing. See example: Muslim mosques going up everywhere, cities and small bergs, with their stated goal at attracting Americans and taking over whole nations by force, or by patient proselytizing.
Evil is now good and good is evil, and the rest of us are confused. The Enemy is at work.
