You and I don’t know each other but anyone who shows up to Amy’s Place is a FRIEND OF MINE. So glad you dropped by to say hi to us. By the way, do you all eat the frog legs?
Years ago, my hubby and friends went frog gigging and we fried and ate them. They really were delicious. Some folks shiver when they think of eating frog legs!! Don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it!! At first the thought of it turned me off but I became used to it. We kill and eat anything that moves (except people)....LOL!
Precious goodnght graphic, Kitty! ((((HUGS))))
Recently I had a conversation with a woman who had experienced a very difficult situation. The stress had affected her health, so she had to visit the doctor frequently. But with a smile on her face, she told me that she has been able to use this painful circumstance as an opportunity to share Christ with her doctor.
In the book of Philippians, we read how the apostle Paul used his difficult situationimprisonmentto preach the gospel. The Philippian believers were grieved because Paul had been arrested for preaching Jesus, but he told them that his bondage had actually turned out for the furtherance of the gospel (1:12). The whole palace guard and others knew why he was in jailbecause he preached Christ. Whoever came in contact with Paul heard about Jesuswhether soldiers (who guarded him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) or others outside. As a result of using his bad news to share the good news, some of the guards may have even become believers (4:22). Just because Paul was confined didnt mean that the gospel was confined.
As Jesus-followers, we can allow our pain to be a platform to share the gospel. In our bad news, lets find an opening to share the good news.

Where ever we are, what ever we do, whomever is there also, we have opportunity to tell the message ...
Jesus saves, Jesus loves, Jesus gave, Jesus is the way to God. Pray for salvation, and forgiveness of sins. Give our life to the Lord. Repent in truth. He will change thee. It is He that causes the change within us. Thank thee Lord, we love thee. Amen

Thank you, dear ((((Kitty))))!!!
In 2010, auto manufacturers recalled a staggering 20 million cars in the US for various defects. The thought of such a large number of defective cars on the road is startling enough. But what is more disturbing is the apathy of some owners. In one instance, the executive director of the Center for Auto Safety warned owners, Its a free repair. Get it done. It may save your life. Yet, despite the risk to their own lives, 30 percent never responded.
Likewise, many ignore Gods recall notice to the entire human race. Unlike a defect found in automobiles, the moral defect of the human race is not the Makers fault. He made everything very good (Gen. 1:31), but peoples sin ruined it. Gods offer to us is repent . . . that your sins may be blotted out (Acts 3:19).
God offers not just a free repair of the human heart but a replacement of it (Ezek. 36:26; 2 Cor. 5:17). Though the offer costs us nothing (Eph. 2:8-9), it cost God the life of His only Son Jesus Christ. [Jesus] bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousnessby whose stripes you were healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Dont ignore the Lords call. The free and permanent remedy offered by God for your spiritual defect will save your life!

Great message from Our Daily Bread, Rus.
Had an accident yesterday morning. I was scooping plums from my neighbor’s tree out of the pool. I tripped over a pottet plant on the edge of the pool and ended up in the pool. Pain in my R foot and upper tibia near the kneecap. Had a big gash in my knee area. Been using two canes to walk around. Also, had my cell phone in my pocket and my hearing aids in my ears along with the bluetooth that hangs around my neck.
So far, the phone and bluetooth don’t work but my hearing aid do. I put them in a jar I got from my hearing specialist. I’ve got a warrenty on the phone from BestBuy so I may have to make a trip up to get a replacement. Grrrr!
Have a great day, Mr Mayor.
OH NO!! Try putting them in a bowl of rice, the dry rice will suck out the moisture. Be careful and hope you heal up quickly.

Oh, thank you for that post, JC! We should all have the spirit, that Mother Theresa wished for us.
Beautiful Graphic, and (ahem) frame that matches perfectly!
Oh, Dave - I am SO sorry to hear this! The suggestion from Rus is a keeper! Rice does restore cell phones that have gotten wet.
My grandaughters have dropped their phones in the toilet and sink full of water - and the rice in a baggie with the phone, make them workable the next day!
Now, about your injuries - did you have to get stitches in your knee? I hope you had a doc check you out - to make sure that no injuries are serious!
Prayers for you, FRiend!
