Great message from Our Daily Bread, Rus.
Had an accident yesterday morning. I was scooping plums from my neighbor’s tree out of the pool. I tripped over a pottet plant on the edge of the pool and ended up in the pool. Pain in my R foot and upper tibia near the kneecap. Had a big gash in my knee area. Been using two canes to walk around. Also, had my cell phone in my pocket and my hearing aids in my ears along with the bluetooth that hangs around my neck.
So far, the phone and bluetooth don’t work but my hearing aid do. I put them in a jar I got from my hearing specialist. I’ve got a warrenty on the phone from BestBuy so I may have to make a trip up to get a replacement. Grrrr!
Have a great day, Mr Mayor.
OH NO!! Try putting them in a bowl of rice, the dry rice will suck out the moisture. Be careful and hope you heal up quickly.

Oh, Dave - I am SO sorry to hear this! The suggestion from Rus is a keeper! Rice does restore cell phones that have gotten wet.
My grandaughters have dropped their phones in the toilet and sink full of water - and the rice in a baggie with the phone, make them workable the next day!
Now, about your injuries - did you have to get stitches in your knee? I hope you had a doc check you out - to make sure that no injuries are serious!
Prayers for you, FRiend!
