Rush just played this tape. Rancid Media is backing Carney. Rush wants to know why Obama is invoking executive privilege if (1) Obama was not involved and/or (2) Obama ended an operation he knew nothing about. Rush: "It's all falling apart for them." CBS forced to report on F&F for first time because of Obama's involvement.
Another opportunity to blame Bush. The easy way out for a liar.
Rush also said he thought one of the reasons for invoking executive privilege is to distract attention from the economy. That’s a head scratcher.
This is one lie that cannot be allowed to stand.

Ummm....I very seldom defend the MSM but CBS is the only network that HAS been covering F & F. Sheryl Atkinsson has done outstanding work and should be praised for her efforts to get to the truth.
Now, PMSNBC has been a different story and Brian Williams has clearly been dragged, against his will, into even mentioning the story. He appears terrified that he will no longer be Bambi’s favorite lackey!
I agree with Rush on this. I believe it is *one* of the reasons.

This current crop of corrupt officials takes the cake from all I’ve seen. Of course, FDR successfully blamed Hoover for his failings even though his administration admittedly used the same playbook and still came out looking like a hero. But, I wasn’t around back then.
If it were Bush’s fault, there would be no basis for invoking “executive privilege”.....
If that is true, then the documentation would convict Bush and Show Obama is innocent
so.... release the documentation and prove it

You’re right. Sherryl Atkinson of CBS, and William Lajeunesse of FOX News have been in the forefront on this story for a long time.
In reading some of the older articles about the FF, I realized that the Democrats claimed that Bush started it because he refused to renew the ban on assault weapons. Holder with drew the statements that he made because he knew that they accusations against Bush were just excuses, not valid accusations.
It’s the old, “The Devil Made Me Do It” excuse, Bush being the Devil.

Bush's gun running involved TRACEABLE guns which were monitored all the way to their destination for the purpose of catching the big fish.
Obama's gun running involved NO TRACKING of guns for the purpose of escalating violence 'from guns coming from America' to build an excuse for Obama to enact strict assault weapons bans in the U.S.
The differences in method and intent couldn't be more stark.
