It is time to crack open a beer or pop a wine cork and enjoy a homemade brew or some wine and this thread.

Just drank beer #1 prior to reading this.
I really am NOT trying to hijack this thread but have you seen this?
I usually like to try all new breweries and believe me, San Diego has a few. But that is one I where I know I will never go.

You can’t really hijack this thread - the posters will take it where it needs to go.
Poor Lori she thinks it is cool
Thanks for the heads up to this brewery’s proclivity. Sounds like a Micro Brewery to avoid.

Actually, it's an entire city to avoid.
In one of the strangest ironies I have seen there is a street in that city called "Normal Street". Given that HC is a bastion of perversion, there is nothing 'normal' about it.

Wow does that mead look delicious!
I don't believe I'm up for beer tonight. Had 1 too many of my 14%ers last night. Only had 3 but just not thirsty today.
UFC event tomorrow, however. The beer will flow like wine! Like salmon back to Capistrano!

Nothing wrong with that. It is a beer. But a homebrew will beat it hands down.

The owners, though, are not shy about crowing about their new business' gay identity, adopting @QueensofBeer as their Twitter handle. "We are queer and we love beer," reads the description on their Twitter feed.Just wow.

Understand. I am gravitating back to medium % homebrews the high gravity beers do me in to early. My mead is at 13.5% if I remember correctly. I took the picture in January and drank that glass of Mead. It was nice but a had little alcohol kick to it. When I bottled it a month ago it had mellowed a bit and was getting better. It will age in the bottle until Thanksgiving.

I was supposed to brew a Cream Ale this week but I will have to wait until next week. Have all the ingredients, but things came up to make me delay the boil. Drats! I really wanted to keep things moving and the beers flowing.

Brewing a molasses 'beer' and one that is the same only with added ginger root. They are OLD recipes, but I figured I'd give 'em a try. I was very suprised at the flavor of the wort. It may be pretty good.
