Understand. I am gravitating back to medium % homebrews the high gravity beers do me in to early. My mead is at 13.5% if I remember correctly. I took the picture in January and drank that glass of Mead. It was nice but a had little alcohol kick to it. When I bottled it a month ago it had mellowed a bit and was getting better. It will age in the bottle until Thanksgiving.
The last time I made mead, some of the bottles spontaneously exploded. Either I need to refine the recipe, or procure stronger bottles...
