Dearest Jaycee, I'm Sorry you're still having Pain! :(
I Hope and Pray the Epidural will Bring a Long-Term Healing;
Please Grant it, our Loving Lord!
I'm just So Sorry the Pain is still there, Dear FRiend.
But the Bright Hope is that you have a Caring Team of Neurosurgeons,
For which my Heart is So Thankful.
Please, Dear Lord, Bring a Resolution for Your Daughter's Terrible Pain.
We are Looking to Thee for Every Mercy from Your Good Hand.

(((((Love you, Sweet FRiend!)))))

Hugs and Prayers

Hi Amy! The lady I posted for Mother's Day was my Mother, c. 1980. She died in 1992. We miss her dearly!

Anyway, thank you all and I must lie down immediately! See you later!! ((((HUGS))))

A WARM AND FUZZY WEDNESDAY, ALBEIT ONE TINGED WITH SADNESS

Rosa Mme. Hardy, Damask, 1832 - My Back Garden 15may2010

All things pass in time and I have the sad duty to report to you that the estimable Mme. Hardy, who graced my Garden with her presence for twenty long years, did not survive the past Winter. She leaves an empty space that will be hard to fill.

I feel your pain. I just lost my King's Ransom yellow rose
because of the drought and heat. :(

It was a very vibrant and fragrant rose.

Happy Warm Fuzzy Wednesday, Conor.

Condolences on the loss of Mme. Hardy. She was beautiful. Are you planning to replace her with a new Mme. Hardy?

I haven't decided what I'm going to do there yet, Amy. She occupied a special corner of my back garden - planted her in 1991 - she arrived from Wayside Gardens during the March 11 Blizzard. I had to pot her for several weeks before I could put her in the ground.

The following year, my Mother died and I designated that quadrant of my garden as a memorial to her - planting antique roses and clematis. I bought an 8 foot 4 by 4 timber and put it in the ground, fashioning dowels into side arms that I could train her on.

My father worked the top of the timber to accommodate a kind of finial and we had her trained around and up that timber for many a year.

We will replace her, but I will probably wait until next year to do so. I want to find something that will be a suitable replacement, whether it is another Mme. Hardy or another rose.
