A WARM AND FUZZY WEDNESDAY, ALBEIT ONE TINGED WITH SADNESS

Rosa Mme. Hardy, Damask, 1832 - My Back Garden 15may2010

All things pass in time and I have the sad duty to report to you that the estimable Mme. Hardy, who graced my Garden with her presence for twenty long years, did not survive the past Winter. She leaves an empty space that will be hard to fill.

Nos genuflectitur ad non princeps sed Princeps Pacem!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

I feel your pain. I just lost my King's Ransom yellow rose
because of the drought and heat. :(

It was a very vibrant and fragrant rose.

Happy Warm Fuzzy Wednesday, Conor.

Condolences on the loss of Mme. Hardy. She was beautiful. Are you planning to replace her with a new Mme. Hardy?
