On a recent flight to New York, I was delighted when a stewardess came over and gave me a bottle of champagne.
‘This is from the captain — he wants to welcome you on board and hopes you have a great flight today,’ she explained.
You’re probably thinking ‘what a lovely surprise’. But while it was lovely, it wasn’t a surprise. At least, not for me.
Throughout my adult life, I’ve regularly had bottles of bubbly or wine sent to my restaurant table by men I don’t know. Once, a well-dressed chap bought my train ticket when I was standing behind him in the queue, while there was another occasion when a charming gentleman paid my fare as I stepped out of a cab in Paris..
Another time, as I was walking through London’s Portobello Road market, I was tapped on the shoulder and presented with a beautiful bunch of flowers. Even bar tenders frequently shoo my credit card away when I try to settle my bill..
And whenever I’ve asked what I’ve done to deserve such treatment, the donors of these gifts have always said the same thing: my pleasing appearance and pretty smile made their day.

Yes.
She ain’t ugly, but she ain’t pretty enough to get by on looks alone, either. My guess is that she dresses as “easy”, rather than being “pretty”, and gets attention from men who aim a little lower because that means that they just might actually have a chance.
I agree whole heartedly.
What gets me is why everyone wants to get rid of her on CA. I say keep her around......just because. ;-)

Well, they found each other in our town. Their happiness and delight in each other is the most precious thing in the world.

I wish I had a photo of Tanya and Bill. They have brought joy to the whole town (all 3,000 of us.)
Yeah, and somewhere out there, is a guy (or more) who is tired of sleeping with her and putting up with her crap...and in reading the road apples she’s spreading. I can understand why he doesn’t put up with her any more.

To be fair, I believe she was probably very pretty when she was say, 18.
Age is not kind to any of us, especially women.

On Apprentice, Lisa Lampanelli is obviously super jealous of Dayana and wants her OUT! LOL Dayana is very engaged in the Apprentice projects and she does try hard. Lisa is a go-getter and is very diligent and passionate about the projects. On the upcoming Apprentice, Lisa makes a comment about “you’re about to take an elevator ride” to someone and it’s HILARIOUS! I saw a preview of it on NBC. She is crude, but funny as heck.
I see the American ideal of beauty already got posted at #14. Whoa!
