I got this one in my email this morning, and I think it should have been for ALL friends - not just women. It kinda goes along with the subject here, gentlemen (and I send it to you both, with blessings):
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
NIV
Dear Woman of God,
Be still for a while and praise God for His favor, His grace and His awesomeness. God is able to do the impossible and is always near. He loves us unconditionally. Together, let’s get 1000 ladies to praise Him with one voice in this next hour. Please forward this to every woman you want God to bless. Let’s all say this prayer during this hour:
Dear God, This is my friend whom I love and this is my prayer for her. Help her live her life to the fullest. Please cause her to excel above her expectations. Help her to shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love. Protect her at all times, lift her up when she needs You the most, and let her know when she walks with You, she will always be safe.
Amen!
Now you’re on the clock . . .Tell nine sisters you love them.
Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps if you are not willing to move your feet!!!
AMY! I never heard of a tornado anywhere NEAR CA! This is scary! (And I’m glad you are safe!)
I love that!
Thank you, Rus. I have had some difficulty in praying since the accident, and this Scripture seemed to be directed at me personally. (As they so often do for all of us.)

We probably have one or two sightings a year but they seldom touch down. There was no problem here, just scary black clouds and wind. I had tumbleweeds on my front porch. LOL Some of my daffodils are taking a rest ... They are laying on the sidewalk.
I love the graphics and poems that you’ve been sharing. Thank you.
Did you go to link on NnB’s poem? Cardhu was the first to comment on it. It was good to see him here.
Saw the pictures of Sedona after the storm went through. The snow was beautiful on those red rocks.
Have a delightful day.
A Warm Fuzzy Wednesday to you too, Kitty.
Your kitty is so pretty ... I love those eyes.
Have a delightful day.
(((((Hugs)))))
I can imagine Yorkie and understand. When I get like that and I do often I remember Romans 8-28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
We are going thru financial difficulties right now. My business is not doing well at all during this economic disaster. I wake up in panic mode wondering when it’s going to end. Thru all we have to keep our Faith and know that Jesus is in control and he has a purpose for everything. Our faith is being tested in different ways.

Awwwww!
I was aware of that before I posted the poem. It was one of the few times Cardhu and I chatted directly.
I agree. It was good to reminisce about that time.
In fact, the image that was originally associated with that poem came from Cardhu, I believe; A laughing young girl in a meadow.
It is left as an exercise for the reader what little girls in meadows have to do with fruits and seeds, but here's a clue:
In time, the blossom yields a fruit,
With promised swelling growth,
Full sweetness for the Gardener,
And seeds within for both.
When I lost my son (over 30 years ago) the scripture that pulled me through the panic was Psalm 46:10. And today, I still repeat that scripture almost every day.
I have been able to pray for my son-in-law's mother who fell in her garage last week, shattering her hip. She is now hospitalized with life threatening issues. (So my daughter and now her husband have faced losing their mothers these past two months).
I can pray for you, too, Rus. Thank you for that.

On occasion, when I go to an old thread in search of something, I get so involved that I could spend hours there. There are so many great poems and so many wonderful graphics.
There are several friends that we no longer see here. What happened to OESY? Is Conspiracy Guy still on FR? TulipTree? Dutchess? Where is WayzataJohn?
You can check, (or anyone can), someone’s posts by going to their about page, and then clicking on “In Forum”, which will take you to their last posts.
Conspiracy Guy showed up early in this month’s Undead Thread, and seems to be busy lately with a bumper crop of grandchildren.
OESY lets months go by between posts.
Tulip hasn’t posted in over a year.
And ...
We have lost people ...
Just did a quick search Amy and this is what I found.
OESY—————last post June 08, 2011
WayzataJohn——Nobody by that name.
Dutchess-———last post February 08, 2011
TulipTree-———Nobody by that name.
Conspiracy Guy—last post March 10, 2012
He does a lot of writing. The poor fool is probably trying to make money at it.
