Yeah, but it won’t happen. It’s not her style.

I read the book and enjoyed it. I have no intention of seeing the movie. If you haven't read the book, it portrays the candidates like this: (My characterizations, not the authors)

1. Obama - wise, skillful, thoughtful, adroit, intelligent.

2. Hillary - tough fighter, lost out to Obama because she was outmaneuvered.

3. McCain - affable bumbling lovable oaf.

4. Palin - shrieking screaming PMS mental case she demon from hell.

That would require a little more than a "plan". It would require an infallible crystal ball, and any possessing one of those probably should be President.

Machiavelli was a Florentine patriot and a believer in republican government, by the way. As a role model you could do a lot worse.

Sarah Palin represents, in her personality and demeanor, everything good, true, and noble in the traditional American character.

It’s no surprise, then, that all those who hate America, and what the nation traditionally represents, despise her.

Slowly, but inexorably, the nation is dividing into two camps - those who love the United States and what she has represented to the world, and those who hate America for resisting the flight to One World, socialist dogma.

The Daily Mail is a half-assed rag. Some of their “big stories” are so full of internal contradictions and poor to nonexistent editing that you’re far more confused after reading it than before.

The Week echoes that view and suggests, by quoting Jim Newell of Wonkette, that a brokered convention has been Palin's plan all along.

They are projecting their fears. Isn't 'Wonkette' the publication that has been trashing Sarah Palin from the beginning?

Kind of like the football coach who plans on the other team fumbling the ball. These analysts are such loons.....But let us say for a moment that they are correct and that she is that clever and scheming. Then that is EXACTLY who I want to be President because at least she will outsmart all the politicians in DC and the rest of the world.

The funds raised in these FReepathons go to pay our current quarter expenses. But we're also going to try to replace some of our older servers and failing equipment this year so we're going to add a little extra to our FReepathon goals. John is estimating ten to fifteen thousand to do this and I'd like to get it all in place and working before the election cycle is fully heated up, so we'll try to bring in a little extra now, if we can, and the rest next quarter.

Yeah, it will happen. This is precisely her metiér... not to mention, last fall she said "...I choose not to run at this time..."

She also said that, if she ran, we should expect a very unconventional campaign. Could there be a more "unconventional" campaign? I doubt it.

Yes, this is exactly her style, and she's easily brilliant enough to have forseen the "Romney-????" stalemate coming last summer. GVnana doesn't know our Sarah.

Palin/West? Naaaaaah, just a dream or wishful thinking. But they would be interesting, couldn’t be any worse than what we have now. I am looking forward to the doozy of a convention that we have coming. TMOAC :)

It would be reminiscent of the way Francis Urquhart got to be British Prime Minister in the miniseries "House of Cards." If that were the case,

Barack Obama had better be very afraid.

"that Palin might be maneuvering to have herself nominated at a brokered Republican convention in August"

Best case scenario at this point.

There’s no question that Sarah would make the best possible candidate. Also, that the GOP establishment would rather shoot themselves upside the head than let her win.

But who knows what the convention delegates from 50 different states might do, if the convention is deadlocked?

I’m inclined to agree with those who have already commented that it seems as if, at this point, we are in the hands of God. Because nobody else is capable of straightening this mess out. But this is probably our last chance to do it.

Let us pray.

I’m not happy with our current crop of candidates, and I think a brokered convention could be good depending on who we nominate.

Let’s for a second say Sarah still doesn’t want to run. Who are possible alternatives besides Jeb Bush and Mitch Daniels?

Jindal?
Paul Ryan?
Gingrich?
Perry?
Huckabee?
Pawlenty?
Petraeus?
Demint?
