I am ALL FOR flaming the enemy bunkers. Desecration of the dead has nothing to do with battle tactics. Besides, I can’t get my question answered. I know you mean well, and are coming from an admirable place. But you have bought into the whole soldier or marine as a sensitive, tee-totaling, reverent, pensive, gentleman thing.
It is a myth made in Hollywood. In the part of the military that actually does the killing, up close and personal, its a very nasty place.
You are fortunate to not know.
So save the sermons,,, and maybe read some accounts about the war in the Pacific. This war has that kind of hatred. There will be some insensitive moments.
Why bother, all choices are negative portrayals of these brave men. I would have voted for “wish I could have joined them”.
That is my question, who took the video and why and why brag about it?

Sorry, as someone who (obviously) has never served, never mind in harms way, you can be forgiven for not being able to grasp the horrors of war.
Condemning the actions of these Marines (I SALUTE THEM my brothers in arm) is not what we Conservative Freepers should be doing, but supporting them as their actions (though sophomoric and juvenile) are completely understandable and are offset by their having volunteered to risk their lives and sacrifice so much to help keep us free.
