Where is the reward for those who ARE able to complete the mission without desecrating the bodies of the dead, in place of God’s own justice, while in a state of being from which none shall be escaping.
Tried to piss on live ones but they moved.
Personally, I remember Desert One. The Sheetheads have no moral position to complain.

Rita, It’s fairly obvious you have never been in combat. While I don’t condone their actions, I certainly understand it. When you see friends blown up by these animals, you lose a bit of your sensitivity.

I get that. My question was, where is the reward for those who DO master their baser impulses? That is as much the purpose of court martial as for punishment;to exhibit the standard by which the exceptional majority serve and represent. That is the question.
Otherwise, would you have an exemplary purpose for even having stars, stripes, medals, court martials?
People playing defense for the base and for the lowest common denominator is a habit that has had far reach into damaging our culture, schools, churches, hospitals and certainly our government.
Were the Marines facing Mecca?
The person who took that video, (their buddy?) will most likely be paid a visit. What kind of freaking buddy would do that and turn his BUDDIES in?

I realize things like this offend the delicate sensibilities of people who have never seen war or been in combat. This is to be expected. However, I assure you much worse occurs.
People have short memories and seem to forget WWII GIs burning Japanese soldiers out of bunkers with flame throwers and inspecting the still-smouldering bodies of the dead.
The worst these Marines should receive is an order to not do this again, and an ass chewing for being so stupid as to video it in the first place.

I hated this mornings interview with Geraldo because I actually agreed with him on this one. War is war. They blow up your buddies, they decapitate our solgiers and citizens while they’re still alive... you are totally stressed out and do stuff you normally wouldn’t do.
IMHO, when you get a few dead Tallies in your midst, peeing on them seems rather - kind. Remember, the dead Tallies are already with Allah and their virgins. I’d probably do something worse.
I was outright trembling when I heard this story! I was outraged! I was besides myself! But that was because I heard that the Marines had taken the corpses and had put them in a room with a TV running re-runs of the TV show GLEE. That would have been evil! Then I found out that they just peed on the dead bad guys so I laughed my ass off....
