I'm curious as to whether 0bama’s minions will be speaking out about this while he is shooting the 19th hole in Hawaii.

Good for him, seems they changed the rules last month, to benefit Romney. Tired of an elite group manipulating elections.

When a self-declared conservative starts filing lawsuits like a liberal because the rules "aren't fair" you can hear the Fat Lady clearing her voice in the distance.

"Virginia ballot access rules are among the most onerous and are particularly problematic in a multi-candidate election." The reality of having so many candidates vying for signatures was overlooked when they set the rules. Little did they know that they would disenfranchise voters when the primary vote came up. For instance, what if Governor Perry were the top candidate come March 6th, on Virginia's primary date? Virginia would not be able to vote for the top candidate on the national ticket. And, delegates to the Republican National Convention will be based upon the winner of the March 6th Primary.

He would do much better to try to knock Romney off the ballot by challenging his signatures. Then Ron Paul would win, but since he would get many delegates in any other state, it would not cause any harm.

I say GREAT. I don’t blame him at all.
Courts are meant to arbitrate disputes that cannot be resolved - and to uphold rights when they are violated.

This sounds great until next election when there's 5000 candidates on the ballot. And Ron Paul is in a three way heat with Myth Romney and Chuckles the Clown and no legitamate candidate can make any headway.
So, Perry's rights were violated because he couldn't find people that were qualified and registered to vote in Virginia......so he intended to use minors, felons, illegals, and bussed in community organizers?
So, in a state of approximately 5 million registered voters he couldn't get 10,000 signatures or... 0.2% of the registered vote.

If Perry and Newt don’t mind playing as dirty as the Dims and Romney (but I repeat myself), they could publicly urge their voters in VA to vote for Paul.

Kudos to Gov. Perry for doing this.
If nothing else, we will have “discovery,” which is not going to look good for Team Romney.

Good news, a Perry win in court is a win for Newt as well, although I was hoping that Newt would enjoin Perry in a court fight.

I am torn. I am glad Gov. Perry stood up against this nonsense, but it makes the ‘pubbies look even more hapless.

I don’t like him, mistrust him in large part, but DARNED he has every right to submit his platform to the people to decide. What a RIGGED SYSTEM. Hope he and others bring it crashing down.
