That looks like an extraneous attack against the pro-life movement, which I took umbrage with.
Don’t sweat it. If you were Violet Blue and were getting passed around from guy to guy like a free crack pipe at an Occupy protest, you’d probably think anyone who wanted your baby to live was ‘well known for violence’ too.
Maybe you just need to ask Siri “Find a place to kill my unborn child.”
Apparently the writer hasn’t heard the latest in the SIRI saga: the reason that SIRI search engines can’t find “abortion clinics” is because abortion clinics don’t advertise themselves as such. A search engine cannot find a word if it doesn’t appear in the web site.
Disclaimer: I have the information from my daughter who keeps up with pro-life information.
I think people are expecting way to much from a hand held computer.
The BOLD portion above is a bald-faced lie. Prior to Roe v. wade in 1973 abortion laws were a STATE issue and they differed from state to state. Some allowed it, some did not. Violet blue is a liar.
I cant believe I read an article written by some dingbat goth chick.
People like that are obsessed with aborting kids.
Now getting an abortion is a “sexual emergency,” eh?
Uhhh! Take one look at that thing and it is obvious she won’t be needing an abortion clinic or anything else (post or pre) related to sexual relations with a man. “Siri, I need a paper bag.”
It works fine if you preface your question with “Siri.. I am a lost soul with no moral standards...help me kill unwanted my child.... so I can party again...
If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.
How is killing a baby a “female sexual emergency”? These self-absorbed liberal women sicken me.
Google works fine. I just clicked the microphone icon in Chrome and had Kathy (Mac OS voice) ask for ‘nearby abortion clinic’ and ‘morning after pill’. Plenty of results both times.

My experience with Siri is that it generally works poorly no matter what query is posed to it. Kudos to any of the software’s programmers if they tried to put a pro-life spin into their product - but I seriously doubt it. If their’s any bias in the software’s ability to direct it’s users to abortion clinics it no doubt comes from the very nature of the business. Abortionists tend to hide what they’re really doing with euphemisms and deceptive language - making them hard for automatic search algorithms to locate. When the chips are down, they know full well that what they’re doing is shameful. We on the other hand, have nothing to hide.
