I remember. I still think LBJ was behind it.

I was 12. School closed and we went home that afternoon.

CIA was behind it.

CIA, LBJ, the Mob, all had a part in it.

I was a Sophomore in High School in Marshalltown Iowa. I can pretty tell everything I did that day.

Yes. A surreal day, like 911.

Hmmm... Nothing to see here; just move along...

“In the three-year period which followed the murders of President Kennedy and Lee Harvey Oswald, 18 material witnesses died - six by gunfire, three in motor accidents, two by suicide, one from a cut throat, one from a karate chop to the neck, three from heart attacks and two from natural causes. In the late 1970s, the House Select Committee on Assassinations felt compelled to look into the matter. The Committee was unable to come to any conclusion regarding the growing number of deaths. However, an objective look at both the number and the causes of death balanced against the importance of the person’s connection to the case, raises concern.”

I was stationed at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, Tx. The base was on high alert and we were confined to base. Spent the whole weekend watching the events on TV.

Yup.

I was in I think second grade. School closed and mom and dad came and picked us up.

Then I was watching TV what was it two days later when Ruby shot Oswald, and I think it was actually broadcast live.

Cobwebs!!!

It was about 13 years before I was downloaded.

I remember it as if it happened 500 years ago.

I was 3 and 1/2. I was taking a nap and woke up to hear my mom crying in the next room. It frightened me and I woke up my sister and we went to see what the problem was.

I find it amazing how many people think the Warren Commission got it right. Perhaps the alternative is something they do not want to think about?

Simply amazing...

Yes, I was in the 9th grade-my speech teacher, Mr. Larsen came to class and told us President Kennedy had been shot.
We thought he was joking. When he said he was not, we all became very quiet.

In 1988, twenty-five years later Mr. Larsen and I were teaching at the same college. I sought him out and reminded him of that day. He remembered coming to our class and giving us the news.

The press was getting ready to go public with the story about JFK’s communist spy girlfriend. What would that have done to the Democrat party in the early 60s? The Democrats killed their own President to save the party.

Yes I do remember. We lived in the middle of nowhere on a ranch, didn’t know anything about it until my mom and her friend and I went to pick up my brother and others from the school bus. We heard it on the radio while waiting for the bus. I don’t remember why I didn’t go to school that day. The schools had let out early after the news of the assasination but the bus kids had been held until normal dismissal because there was no way to notify all the rural parents.

Hey, here’s a new theory. It wasn’t LBJ,it wasn’t the CIA, it wasn’t Castro, it wasn’t the mob...it was...a lone gunman namely Lee Harvey Oswald, a disgruntled Marxist sympathizer who got a less than honorable discharge from the USMC and who attempted to kill General Edwin Walker 7 months before he assassinated Kennedy. I know it’s crazy but I thought I’d just throw it out there.

I remember it well - eleven years old and the principal’s secretary came in to our sixth grade classroom with a radio, whispered something to our teacher who announced JFK had been killed. A couple of kids started to cry and the chain-smoking terminal spinster biddy got mad and told them to stop that, no reason to get upset, etc. They dismissed school early and I remember my mom shaking her head with sadness when she saw me coming up the driveway - then came the LBJ debacle.
