As you sit down with your family on Thanksgiving and consider offering a prayer of gratitude, be aware the turkey at the center of the table may have already been "blessed" in the name of Allah.
Customer service representatives from Butterball, one of America's most popular Turkey brands, confirmed to WND that the company's whole turkeys are without being labeled as such slaughtered according to Islamic "halal" standards.
"Halal slaughter involves cutting the trachea, the esophagus and the jugular vein and letting the blood drain out while saying, 'Bismillah allahu akbar'

The hillbilly turkeys here are all smarter than the hunters so we just go shopping....;D
Exactly. I had the same reaction when I heard this before.
I think this was reported by WND before actually. It's good to be aware of the attempts at Islamication of America, but there's a difference between being aware and getting hyperventilated over every little thing. WND is getting to be like that crazy uncle everyone has but pays little attention.
To me this is like how many businesses are advertising in Spanish. It's an annoying indication of how so many refuse to assimilate, but it's not the business' fault for trying to please as many customers as possible. And this isn't even an indication of a lack of assimilation; it's just an indication Muslims follow dietary laws, something hardly threatening really. (until and unless they start trying to force them on everyone)
Some Mennonites down the road from me used to have a *huge* pasture full of white turkeys.
Far as the eye could see, nothing but stupid turkeys staring at the sun.
The birds tasted great but then they stopped raising them several years ago.
Dunno why.
They just don’t make Mennonites like they used to.
so a turkey is going to have one station be the jihad stop and the other station be the kosher stop?
should not the labeling be prominent for both?
nope...Satan exists....you cannot place a curse on something by dedicating it to something that doesn't exist...eat up and enjoy, your God will take care of it all (except for cooking it)
I say label it clearly and let the free market decide.
If the free market does not want it so be it.

Jihad per TV realism series- All American Muslims
TLC Sunday, 9 PM CST
It is an attempt to manipulate Americans into ignoring the threat of jihad and to bully them into thinking that being concerned about the jihad threat would somehow victimize these nice people in this show.
The problem people have with Islam is its teachings of violence against and the subjugation of unbelievers. It is with the supremacist ideology and the fervent believers in those noxious doctrines of warfare and subjugation. Yhe ultimate danger posed by a program presenting the normal side of life for American Muslims is that it isnt accurate.
The danger is in the deception and obfuscation of the truth which results in the intellectual disarming of the American people.

THey have confirmed it on their FaceBook page.
It just makes the turkeys sound "dirty" or something. It's creepy. I'd have a hard time putting it in my mouth.
Thanks for the link, very informative.

WDN FaceBook page or Butterballs?
Two words: non issue.
It is no secret. I called the Butterball Hotline and they told me that yes their turkeys are compliant with halal specifications, with all that means.

1 Corinthians 8:12 - "When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ."
It’s good to have the information so a consumer can make an informed choice. While I don’t think I’m going to hell if I eat a turkey dedicated to Satan, I would prefer one that wasn’t.
You don't mind, fine, but this a serious, filthy stunt by Butterball...Especially when it's kept secret.
Seriously?
