Hmm, it appears there is a “Wookie” subtribe at FR I am not familiar with.

We’re lucky George Lucas isn’t suing us for copyright infringement.

That’s okay. I missed the others but it’s nice to see I can still read about it.

If those who booed Michelle will also take the time to give the PC-friendly members of the France family a raspberry, then they may deserve some slack.

Fair enough, I just didnt see the connection. God Speed! Thank you for the kind followup and for your understanding.
At the risk of the thread going down a brief cul de sac, since you're familiar with the Grand Ole Opry (and I discern you're in Tennessee), is is the hot ticket it was that I recall back in the 50's and 60's? There used to be crowds lining the street at old Ryman downtown hours before showtime to get a ticket.
I've heard that the audience is now mostly older folks and that some shows don't sell out like they did in my era.

She deserved EVERY MOMENT OF HER. Maybe this will not be one of the very, very few moments that makes her proud to be an American.

I still think most of the population already know WHO they are.
Their grandstanding won’t help them at all.
They’re pathetic and personably ‘transparent’ as can be.
They have been ‘exposed’ but a lot of people won’t
speak their mind UNTIL voting day.

Although it's been posted before, in the event that anyone hasn't seen it, here's
Obama's 2010 First Pitch vs. Bush's 2001 First Pitch. AT least for me, it never gets old and brings a smile when I think back to when we had a genuine American in the White House.

"Hmm, it appears there is a Wookie subtribe at FR I am not familiar with." They run strong on several threads, especially the NASCAR races (sadly). It's something we don't need to further alienate people who love to associate this site with racism.

So, zero seems to be an incompetent ideologue according to Matthews. But zero does not want to discuss or compromise, he is an utterly evil man and he wants to dictate and oppress. Zero just lacks single-mindedness and intensity, and the skills to use military force against Americans.
But, I really don’t know what Matthew wants or expects... Martial law, confiscatory taxes and a police state? It’s hard to do that with a smiley face. I would imagine that Matthews pines for the slow slick slide to socialism under a politically gifted leader like Clinton. But still, there is no soft road to tyranny in this economy and current political environment.

About a week ago I saw a segment on CNN or MSNBC dealing with the concerted effort to bring more blacks and Hispanics into the NASCAR ‘world’. It seemed to be a deliberate attempt to take over middle America’s entertainment/sports. Why? To squash anti Obama votes, of course.
