Motorists driving along the 6000 block of Douglas Avenue near Merle Hay Mall in northwest Des Moines will be told, via a billboard, that eating bacon can lead to rectal cancer.

It’s any salted, processed, food where there is a link.
Could be fish. Could be kosher beef. Could be pig.
It is, however, absurd to single out bacon.
