***I Read Today That Two Of Sarah Children Didn't Want Her To Run***(VANITY)
Stardate: 1110.7

Posted on 10/07/2011 4:13:16 PM PDT by The Wizard

She should have taken those kids to a military Hospital so they could see those who decided that even though they also loved their children, they understood that their duty was to our nation and the millions of people who depend on them....

Sacrificing for the country is taking care of your kids......a leader goes places where others are not sure where to go.....and I hear in Sarah's voice in the Bob and Mark show how MUCH she wanted to run....

If Sarah had entered she would have gotten $50 million dollars the first day, or more.....

Sarah should re-examine her decision and change her mind for our America...her kids will understand later.....

even when it is your own children, whom you love, you don’t take their desires over 100 million people and the leadership of the free world......there is no self in this....Sarah you need to run....

What have you sacrificed? How dare you question whether someone else has done enough.

It doesn’t matter if she didn’t want to run because her Pizza Delivery man told her not to.....She said she ISN’T going to run! No use on crying over spilled milk...Time to support Herman Cain!!!! This Country is being torn apart and we MUST get Obama OUT of the White House in 2012.

I'd give anything to be in the position that Governor Palin was in, to be able to actuall change things.

Every movement begins with a step. If you are going to demand she puts a run for the office before her family, then lead by example and run for dog catcher or something local. Palin began by running for school board then mayor.

All I know is that Todd Palin is a better and stronger man than me. I would be in prison after confronting the Lettermans, Schultzes and McGinnises of the world.

This election is important and sometimes it takes real sacrifice to win the war.

Yes, as you safely type your condescension from behind your keyboard.

Really easy to ask someone else to sacrifice their life because YOU deem it necessary.

“Her eldest son serves in the military and her youngest has Down Syndrome. I’d cut her some slack.”

A tough situation to be sure, but if that was the reason for not running she could have announced her decision long ago.

No. Palin decided to not run because she didn’t want to, or her kids didn’t want her to, or she felt it wasn’t the right time or she felt she would be better at promoting conservative ideas with out running or who cares it was her decision and as much as you may want it to be it was not about you.
Palin was my first choice and I really hoped she would run, I am disappointed she choice not to, however I respect her enough to accept that she is not.
So stop whining about it.

if youbsaw the video last week of Bristol being confronted in north Hollywood... you’d understand her thinking. that loon was a half step from knifing her

Bristol is being used. She really needs to get out of the circus that is Reality TV.

Bristol Palin 'homophobic fight' was setup by reality show, says co-star ..... The argument between Bristol Palin and a man who slammed her famous mother in a Hollywood bar was "set up by the producers of her reality show", says Bristol's co-star Kyle Massey. .... Sources close to Massey have revealed that he is not happy about it, or the direction that their Biography channel show is taking. .... And according to TMZ, fellow former Dancing with the Stars alumni Massey feels it was a "little too convenient' that so many cameras were there to catch the confrontation", reports the Daily Mail...... Though Massey believes the incident was set up, he thinks Bristol had no knowledge of it.

I read today that Mitt Romney is actually a space alien who under the slick hair and human skin is actually a lizard.

Now that Sarah has made her decision, I can see the show dying a quicker death.

Those are just the public insults. I’m talking about the physical threats that we never hear about. I’m sure there are many. There are many sick people out there.

All elections are important, and this one is no more a “war” than any other election. Comparing a presidential election to the Revolutionary War severely downplays the efforts of our founders.

Plenty of people make the choice to keep their family morale high over a career boost, in fact, that would probably be the most socially conservative thing you could do. If she came down to asking her kids, it either shows that she wasnt in it 100% to begin with, or that she holds her family as a more important aspect of her life than career advancement.

Sarah Palin is in a very powerful position in 2012. She's Kingmaker. She will use her influence to move to elect conservatives to Congress and statehouses, and to see that the President will have his toes to the fire. Not everyone needs to be President. Obama needed the job. Sarah Palin needs to be effective.

You’re not alone, though it IS entertaining to watch them turn on their own over whether Gov. Palin should have done this, that or the other thing.

Boy am I glad the founders didn’t make their decisions to support this infant country and the revolution that preceeded it based on the emotions or desires of their children, or even whether or not the children would be put through hell. The knew what the probably outcome would be, death for themselves, possibly their offspring and wives, and destruction of their fortunes, and yet they still pressed ahead.

I'm in total and heartfelt agreement. Country first. It's amazing to me how many people here say family first.

Nevertheless, what the Founding Fathers sacrificed so much for, what heroes then and since sacrificed all for, is freedom; and Sarah Palin is free to make a different choice, to put her family first, or her personal desires first. And who knows, perhaps she feels she would not have been the right person for the presidency. We do not know. It's her business and I respect her decision. For me, the case is closed.
