Let's suppose Cain wins the nomination. Do you think he's going to pal around with Palin on the campaign trail or pick her as VP?
The honest answer is "No". Cain would need independents and Palin has a lot of negatives, also, she's from Alaska, not a key state. The simple truth of the matter is Palin is no longer important as some think she is. And any candidate that latches on to her, or rather, let's Sarah latch on to them could quite possibly end up losing the independents. So, watch for the nominee to distance himself (whoever he might be) from Palin. The base would be with Cain, Palin could only drive potential voters away.
Again, if you think about this honestly, I think her time in the bright lights is coming to an end.
In full disclosure I was a big time Sarah fan, but no longer, Cain is my guy now and I'm not switching away from him.
Do you actually believe that Cain, Bachmann, or Sanitorem would have the good sense and courage to abolish the Fed?
Some of us knew exactly what Sarah was saying, but then there was others.........
>> “Palin-Cain 2012!” <<
.
If not, God help us! - (but then, if not, he is probably done helping us)
If Cain wins the nomination, the attack will be that he's never held elected office, and only ran for office once.
Palin has won many elected offices in her state, and ran on the Republican national ticket. Palin has more credibility as a candidate, and would be more expected to be the top of the ticket.
If Cain wins the nomination and chooses Palin, the rap on Palin will be that she's "always the bridesmaid and never the bride." It might tarnish Palin if the message will be that she chose not to run for the top of the ticket, and "settled" for VP, again.
That would leave Palin on the defensive if she were to choose to run for President in the future, after being on the bottom of the ticket twice.

I think the original poster is correct on this. For some candidates there will be appearances with Palin. But most won’t want her hanging around with them too much. And most likely the Palin fans will have moved on by next Summer assuming she doesn’t run, so the Sarah Mania fan club that has been waiting the past three years for 2012 will start to disburse.
Frankly the one candidate who will hang out with Palin if they get the nomination is Romney. He’ll need people like Palin to bring the Tea Party base over.
Nah, I saw that gif on another thread the other day and had to have it. Didn’t think I’d get to use it this soon.
:-)
>> A huge if, but otherwise, perfect logic. >>
True, but the “if” is much smaller than it used to be.....
>>Sarah Palin never said Shackle-y. You have just taken that from headlines. She said shackling.
<<
Even if that were true, so what? If she thinks maybe it’s gonna be too “shackling” then she should run, not walk, from the campaign.
And if she thinks she might “sell out” then she REALLY should run away.
Wishful thinking as to Palin. Cain has just emerged from the shadows, now to see how he weathers in the bright unblinking critical sunlight.
It appears to me that all you Palin naysayers are just like the lsm - you are fascinated by her, afraid of her and can’t stop talking about her! BWAAAHAHAHA
JC
Cain?
Who is he?
Oh wait.....
“And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? “
Is it that Cain we are talking about here?
Why should Sarah Palin want to pal around with such a guy? Thought he'd passed on long ago. :)
Palin repeatedly called Cain, “Herb”.

Cain is a good man. I feel much the same as you.

Great minds you know!

Sorry, cupcake but I don’t use such language...for some reason you palinites seem quite fond of it though.
As of the other day - he had not won the nomination yet. What do you supposed will happen?

standing corrected.
