Mgrdechian, 45, was a high school senior growing up in Bayside, Queens when “Born in the USA” hit. He loved the album cover — the blue jeans, the flag. He loved the title. He even loved the song — at first. “It definitely grabbed me right away because the music and chorus were so powerful and direct,” says Mgrdechian from his Midtown office. “I just assumed it was the ultimate pro-American song.”

Springsteen early stuff was Ok...but his later stuff was lousy.
We were talking about over-rated music groups...I said Springsteen.
Heres hoping this band hits it big..good luck guys.

Local Altoona band has a good patriotic song, “In God We Trust”. Hardcore metal, but supports soldiers.
Thank you for the link. We’ll be supporting this group not only because of their theme, but also because they produce terrific exercise and housecleaning music. (Go ahead and criticize my taste; I like everything except Notre Dame Organum.)

I think it’s Armenian.
Had a girlfriend who taught grade school on Milwaukee’s South Side. She had a student named Trzybiatowski. I asked her how Trzyb was pronounced?
She told me “Sheb.”
I guess he never heard of 3 Doors Down. It’s not exactly my kind of music, but Citizen Soldier and Love Me When I’m gone are about as pro-soldier as you can possibly get.
