That is my question exactly, if tax cuts NEVER trickle down, how does all the stimulus magically “trickle down”??

The why did 0 claim the Stimulus bill would prevent unemployment from going over 8% while doing nothing would cause it to go over 9%?

1. I think they’ve proven beyond the shadow of any doubt that there is no possible way to spend yourself into prosperity. They’ve spent more money trying to do so than all previous attempts combined. Probably ten times more.
2. The Dems point of view SHOULD actually be: “well, it would have worked had they actually spent the money where they said they would... but at least Obama has successfully funded his next campaign.”

Don’t forget: they re-scalred the unemployment number last year to prevent it from hitting 10% at that time (never mind that the number is a joke anyway).

That was the point of a bubble, everything is fine, until it pops. And under Bush, we had a massive bubble. So simply giving credit to a bubble is absurd.

It IS a depression; and it would not have been had the government simply done nothing. Nothing: no loans to people with no income; no bailouts for them and/or the banks that lent money to them; no bailout for governments that promised too much to their employees; no bailouts for companies that promised too much to their employees. Nothing.

I'm waiting for them to stop re inflating the housing bubble repeatedly so the market will find the real bottom.

Tell them that even by their own rationale Obama is a complete failure then because if he would have made all these things 10 times as big, we’d all be rich now!
To: WOBBLY BOB
If the government had cut regulations and stimulated small business instead of giving welfare to big business, we would already be out of this mess with a lot less debt.
