Now that he’s no longer interested in a run for the White House, at least for the time being, it would make sense for real estate mogul Donald Trump to drop the whole “birther controversy” subject, right?
But Trump isn’t. In an appearance on Wednesday’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” on CNN, Trump revisited the topic and refuted claims of racism. However, he added there are still some questions surrounding President Barack Obama’s birth certificate.
“The word racist has not been applied to me, I will tell you that,” Trump said. “But I was very proud of the job I did with respect to the birther issue, because I got Obama to do something which nobody else was able to get him to do. And there’s a real question as to why he took so long to do it. Maybe one of these days you’ll have to ask him why. And you have to check out that document very carefully.”
Trump said he was proud of the progress he made in settling the controversy once and for all. But he didn’t speak very favorably of the GOP’s handling of the debt ceiling debate.

Is this too simple for everyone to understand, including the Trump?
(1) The White House DID NOT receive a “certified copy” of an original birth certificate from Hawaii.
(2)The White House received a newly created digital ABSTRACT of data on file in Hawaii.
(3)The White House then made various “copies” of this ABSTRACT.
(4) The White House then released “copies” to the media, allowing them and everyone else, to assume that this was a a “copy” of the birth certificate on file in Hawaii.
(5) It is not a “certified copy” of a birth certificate. It is a “copy” of an ABSTRACT. If anyone in the MSM needs to (or cares to) learn the difference between an ABSTRACT and a Certified Copy, ask a Real Estate Broker, or Title Officer, maybe even a Used Car Dealer.
The scam the Magic Marxist pulled ain’t exactly rocket surgery. Besides, whatever happened tio the “Natural Born Citizen” issue? Will Donofrio or somebody else renew his efforts to establish the chimp’s ineligibility in 2012?
In Hawaii they consider issuing certified short form COLBs to be “abstracts” and long form Certificates of Live Birth to be issuing “copies.”
Here’s what the Hawaii Director of Health said about the long form. Note the word “copy.” They say that they issued two “certified copies.”

The registrar of vital statistics’ stamp says: “I certify this is a true copy OR abstract of the record on file at the Hawaii Department of Health.”
Wouldn’t it be great if the Hawaii officials could be hauled before a judge or a committee of Congress to answer questions directly?

Good observation. He’s still grinding that anti-Lakin ax, I see. That’s the part I don’t get. Lakin acted with honor, and had the ground cut out from under him by cowards. He served his time, and lost a lot because he took a stand. Now some just cannot kick him hard or often enough. Some things I will never understand.
His implication is subtle that since the last Hawaiian R Admin. supported Obama then Obama must be legit.
He must have found a way to get a new IP Address. For some reason, arguing Obama’s legitimacy is personal for him; he must have a deep emotional investment in it. His claim that he is rational and ‘birthers’ aren’t is ludicrous. I exchanged posts with him on the subject of Abercrombie’s bizarre presser and Evans multiple, unambiguous account of his conversation with Hippo Mouth. The ghost of Jamese777 went hyper-irrational straight out of the gate. It gave the game away. He’s not pushing facts: he’s pushing Obama’s legitimacy, facts be d@mned.

The White House received a new, digitally created ABSTRACT, which they then copied in various ways in more or less successful attempts to make it look like a certified copy of an original document. For example, the document they received was just a printout on white stock. To give it a bit more shedazzle, the WH even tried to copy it on green background certificate-type stock! (Office MAX? Depot?)
Had the document been a Certified Copy, The WH would certainly have said so! However endlessly fascinating the Birth Certificate issue is, it is no match IMHO, for the real question:
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have an answer! Instead, all we have witnessed is a marvelous feat of legerdemain, misdirection, and trompe-l'oeil. Team Obama has literally made the elephant disappear in a crowded room.
I am hoping our questions take on new life in the next election cycle. Surely the courts cannot continue to do..........................
