Russell Crowe, the Gladiator star, has sparked outrage after describing circumcision as barbaric in an angry four-letter outburst on the social networking site Twitter.
The Oscar-winning actor laballed the practice “barbaric and stupid” during a row with his Twitter followers, telling them to “f--- off” if they disagreed with him.
The 47-year-old engaged in an angry exchange with one follower, whom he branded a “moron”, before imploring Jewish people to “stop cutting your babies”.
The debate followed a question by one of his fans called @picknic11 who asked him: “My son is due soon. Do you think I should get him circumstanced? [sic]”
Crowe, who hit the headlines in 2005 when he was charged with second-degree assault in New York after throwing a telephone at a hotel employee, tweeted: “Circumcision is barbaric and stupid. Who are you to correct nature? Is it real that GOD requires a donation of foreskin? Babies are perfect.”
He added: “Many Jewish friends, I love my Jewish friends, I love the apples and the honey and the funny little hats but stop cutting yr babies.
“I will always stand for the perfection of babies, I will always believe in God, not man's interpretation of what God requires.
“Last of it, if u feel it is yr right 2 cut things off yr babies please unfollow and f--- off, I'll take attentive parenting over barbarism.”
The outburst provoked dozens of responses from his followers. One said: “There's actually a scientific reason for [circumcision], u should google it.”
Crowe replied: “My friend, "human" science has caused too much damage, don't be a moron.”
Another follower told him: “I disagree on Circumcision , It's more hygienic and nobody remembers it”, to which Crowe replied “Hygienic? Why don't you sew up your a-- then?"

One of my favorite “Saturday Night Live” bits ever is when the original series spoofed a then-current Mercury Marquis commercial. In the original, they demonstrated that car’s smooth ride by having a gemcutter cut a diamond while sitting in the back seat. In the SNL parody, they had a rabbi do a circumcision in the back seat. As Lee Iacocca later described it in his memoirs, “Believe me, the suspense in the diamond-cutter ad was nothing compared to the tension in this one.”
Ah gee, another foul mouthed actor thinking his opinion actually matters to anyone but himself.

He probably doesn’t even know that muslims also engage in the practice. I’m sure he’ll apologize for opposing it once this fact is pointed out to him.
Someone should’ve asked him if he considers killing unborn babies to be “barbaric” as well.

Oh, Lordie! The community that perfected freakish cutting (i.e., facelifts, breast lifts, etc.) speaking out on circumcision. I’d laugh if I didn’t cry.

Actually, if we can stick to the subject of cutting (rather than murdering) let’s ask him about Joan River’s face cuts (not face lifts) and Chastity Bono’s hacking off of her breasts. But, then, Mr. Crowe isn’t really too bright, is he?
The liberal position on all subjects is the opposite of whatever the Bible says for any given situation. Anti Christian and Jewish, thats what cranks their tractors.
Does “unfollow” mean to remove someone from one’s list of twerps, tweeters, twits, (or whatever they are called) from whom one receives twittled, tweeted, twerped (or whatever whatever it is called) messages?
I am thinking of starting up a ‘Social Network’ of my own, though. It will be geared towards people like Joe Biden, Chris Matthews, Anthony Weiner, Russell Crowe, etc. (those who can't seem to stop inserting their electronic feet in to their internet-based mouths). And I shall call it: ‘FacePalmBook’
