Thank you very much, bigjoesaddle!!

This is the video of her appearance with Judge Jeanine from this past Saturday night.

It's a must see just just for the content alone, but Sarah's voice is very lovely when she doesn't have to shout to huge crowds or rush her speech, with interviewers known to cut her off in mid sentence, like BOR and even Chris Wallace.

I don't remember if I, VR, or Clyde5445, pinged Sarah's List to the video, but I suspect one of us did, so I'm pinging some whom I don't think will mind a second ping. :)

Agree can’t stand the Ssss.
Also, when he tries to take a word and emphasis it
(as if he has passion for his empty words)his cheeks
fill up with air and there is this empty Pa sound
that comes out. Now I understand where the term
“Air-head” comes from...

I joined her blog and contribute to SPAC
but still have trouble contacting her
through their understandable filters.

I HAVE mentioned on FB to her administrator
that I would be happy to help her with
vocal coaching (as I’m sure many others
have). If my offer has nudged her toward
some good coaching, that’s fine with me.

But I’m a voice teacher / coach and a drama
director. I help people who speak in public
to do it better. So ... yes, I know what
I’m talking about. Palin has some quaint
regional speech characteristics that do not
harm her image. In fact, they reinforce to
“the people” that she is unaffected and one
of us.

My only problem is that I can see she will
eventually lose her ability to speak if she
doesn’t correct some vocal issues.

Any coach can do what I suggest. What worries
me is that her beltway handlers might be messing
with what makes Sarah, Sarah.

RUN SARAH, RUN!

No one had higher negatives than that Hillary Clinton. Her screechy voice was simply painful to listen too. Did the left constantly castigate her about her problems? Nope. We need to stand together behind a conservative candidate or we are done.

Sarah has also been under the microscope since 2008, and it's clear that she is increasingly comfortable being there. Nothing has stopped her or even slowed her down. If she has chosen or chooses to get some voice training, I'm fine with that, but I would hope that she wouldn't lose her accent or individual way of speaking. Imo, it's one of the reasons that people love and respect her.

Sarah is Spectacular!

There is no "g" in "Palin".

Although, I think some of that nasally sound is just a regional voice pattern.

Yep, kind of like the Midwestern speech pattern, or the sing-song Minnesota way of speaking. I don't want her to change her way of speaking at all. Sure, it's a higher pitch, but women usually have higher pitched voices than men, what's the problem with that? And yes, when she's speaking to a large crowd, her voice goes up in pitch, but that's a function of her having to raise her voice over crowd noise. Every politician does it, it's just more noticeable when Sarah does it.

That being said, it was quite noticeable when Hillary had to do the same voice modulation when she ran for President. Before the primary, her voice was like fingernails on a chalkboard, when she was speaking to a crowd, but I noticed during the primary that she had worked hard to slow her speech down, and lower her pitch a notch or two. I thought it sounded pedantic, but I guess that's what she was advised to do.

According to the left, Herman Cain isn’t really a black man because no real black man is conservative.

For white conservatives, they throw the racist card, and for black conservatives, they throw the Uncle Tom card.

Conservatives get destroyed regardless their race.

Herman Cain’s major weakness is foreign affairs. I think he will either win the GOP nomination on his business acumen or not.

Should Sarah Palin win the nomination, I think she will choose a VP well schooled or experienced in foreign affairs.

All too often, the presidency is won on domestic affairs, then *snap!* foreign affairs or events come into play.

We’re already involved in 3 wars and the Middle East is ablaze. The bext CIC has to be strong against the Islamic terror in the Middle East.

Israel needs a much stronger partner, -— one who completely understands and shares Israel’s concerns and that person is Sarah Palin.

"Also, I think his executive experience is stronger than Palin."

Oh, heck yeah. Anyone who ever worked in a pizza shop will tell you, it's much more demanding than being Governor of a State... negotiating oil pipelines with the three largest corporations on the planet and three different countries, Commander in Chief of Alaska's Air National Guard, that's tiddlywinks compared to chairing a board meeting.

Hey, is that drool on my chin?

Ya mean like Justice Thomas’s being black allowed him to sail through the Senate Judiciary Committee without opposition from the Dems?

Thomas' experience is not applicable. For one thing, that was then, this is now, and the environment is completely different.

Moreover, Cain is not being grilled in a senate hearing by Ted Kennedy. He is running an election campaign.

Given who Cain is, his accomplishments, his outspoken style, and the fact that he reads "blacker" than Obama, the Democrats will only look stupid trying to play the race card against him. Sure, some black voters will maybe buy the Uncle Tom thing, but a lot won't, and most other voters will not either.

It'll be fun watching Obama trying to "out black" Herman Cain, especially since it is demonstrably true that Cain is smarter and more accomplished that Obama.

And as for mud -- of course I don't know everything about Cain, but given his resume and reputation, I'll be really surprised if even the MSM can smear him.

Anyone who ever worked in a pizza shop will tell you,

You know, if you read through this thread, this has been a very nice adult discussion of both Cain and Palin. Palin doesn't walk on water....and you implying Cain is some pizza shop boy is, at the least unnecessary and at the most juvenile.

Cain doesn’t add anything to Palin’s ticket. She’ll need to bring in someone with some Washington experience that the Establishment is reasonably comfortable with to balance the ticket. Let’s just hope she doesn’t pick another Poppy.
