Palin Doctrine? Sarah Palin spoke at a Tribute to the Troops at Colorado Christian University.

1. We should only commit our forces when clear and vital American interest are at stake.
2. IF we have to fight, we fight to win. We use overwhelming force, we only send in our troop into war with the objective to defeat the enemy as quickly as possible: We do not send in our military to stretch out the mission with an open-ended and ill-define mission. NATION BUILDING is a nice idea in theory but it is not the main purpose of our Arm Forces, we use our military to win wars.
3. We must have clearly defined objectives before sending our troops in harms way: If you can't explain the mission to the American people clearly and concisely, then our Sons and Daughters should not be sent into battle. PERIOD.
4. American soldiers must NEVER be put under foreign command: We can fight side by side with our allies, but American soldiers must remain under the care and command of the American officer.
5. Sending out our Arm Forces should be our last resort: We don't go looking for dragons to slay, however we will encourage the forces of freedom around the world who is sincerely fighting for the empowerment of the individual. When it makes sense and it is appropriate, we will provide them with support to help them win their own freedom....But we can't fight every war, we can't undue every injustice around the World.
Palin: The Stronger we are the more peaceful the World will be under our example....We must vigorously defend ourselves but at the same time not wear down our arm forces with never-ending and ever increasing commitments. I believe that America though, must never retreat into isolation, the World will be less safe and less free without our leadership and we must never forget that America has a responsibility to lead "TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN MUCH IS EXPECTED".
We can not be the World's policeman, granted or a door of ATM but we can lead by example, by our words and if necessary by our actions.....We need leaders that embodies the same standard that our men and women in uniform hold themselves...Remember, the true soldier fights for it is behind him. Behind him here is tradition, patriotism and it---it is not a need for a fundamental transformation of America but a renewal for ALL THAT IS GOOD ABOUT AMERICA!

Sarah Palin resigned to get the countless attacks against her out of the governor’s office, and the money they cost the state, away from the burden of taxpayers.
Also Gov. Palin’s entire administration was paralyzed by those frivolous complaints.
In an article Gov. Palin said:
“I said, ‘Enough. Political adversaries and their political friends in the media will not destroy my State, my administration, nor my family. Enough.’ I knew if I didn’t play their game any longer, they could not win. I would not retreat, I would instead reload, and I would fight for what is right from a different plane.”
The Democrat operatives (and their Republican lackeys!!) responsible, were strangling the people’s business with their endless political manipulation of the system.
She resigned because of time and financial burden of a litany of ethics complaints in the past several months.
The complaints were without merit and took away from the job she wanted to do for Alaskans.
She had also fulfilled all the campaign promises she made, i.e., ethics reform, budget cutting, earmark cutting, getting the natural gas pipeline off high center through an open, transparent, and competitive process!!!
For the past two years Sarah Palin has worked tirelessly to fight Obama and his policies and elect conservatives.
She was responsible for the takeover of the House , twice as many Governships and lopsided GOP Statehouses.
Sarah Palin was #1 in the fight.
Given all the facts about what happened to Governor Palin during the last portion of her term, anybody with a working mind understands that what she did was for the benefit of her state.
Not enough policy talk. Can’t vote for her.

And that's here, on a Conservative site. What do you think the general population thinks of her? That's the whole point of my objection to the level of palin-worship here. America will not elect her. If we push her as God's gift (which many here do) then we lose.

Secondly, I don’t know that an oath to defend, uphold, and protect the Constitution at any level carries with it an oath to stay in office come hell or high water or whatever. Could be that many politicians think they can’t be removed from office because the oath means absolutely for term. SC justices are the only ones I can think of that have such a guarantee.

I’m in Calgary, so not too close. Took a cruise to Alaska in ‘09 and fell in love with the place, though we never got farther north than Juneau. What a beautiful place, though, and I loved the people. I’d move there in a minute if I were ready to be divorced...

Now the personnel of that unit/ship/squadron would not or should not ask their commander to move, especially if they took those attacks personally or that any attack on one of their own is an attack on all of them.
And that commander's superior officers should not move that commander because that would be a sign of weakness.
But consider if that commander himself or herself decided to move to a location where they could more effectively deal with the attacks themselves rather than put their troops, sailors or aircrews in harms way. They would then draw fire away from that unit/ship/base. Would that not be a good move?

There are a ton of people there who are pro-life and just as many who are not, but what they all agree on is the threat to rule of law and this nation that the tens of millions of additional people flooding into the U.S.A. via open borders represents.
So you keep doing what you’ve been doing, and you’ll antagonize every new potential supporter for Sarah Palin to the point she won’t garner additional support.
I am opposed to abortion and have been for decades. I am opposed to massive, uncontrolled immigration. You find that unacceptable then you’re no Conservative.
I’m very against illegal immigration but I care who heads which org that I get my information from. the founder of Numbers USA was/is a strong supporter of population control. How do we know he isn’t giving Palin bad marks because she is prolife?
I would rather go with the fact that Gov Palin was the first and loudest voice to back the AZ immigration law. that she stood beside The AZ gov and promoted the law. That she called for securing the border, that she has called for allowing the border patrol agents to do their job, that she has called for internal immigration enforcement over anything a pro-population control guy will say.

That’s good to know. Until you told me, I had no way of knowing. I don’t even own a television.
Other people have an even greater need to know than I do, as the media is against her.
And that is why an online site with a data page like NumbersUSA is so important. They rely on people like you and others to provide them with verifiable information concerning the immigration stances of candidates.
My concern is getting the maximum amount of information out to the public about candidates.
Liberals base all their decisions on feelings whereas Conservatives do not. So it is Conservatives who go looking for the facts and up to those who know the facts to get the message out.
Still think Palin’s a neo-con?
