Prayers needed for my mother

We need prayers!
My 95 year old mother, Virgina, did not wake up this morning. She is still only semi-responsive in the emergency room at Sutter Memorial Hospital. When I arrived there from Stockton at 10:30AM here blood pressure was 53 over 37 and her O2 saturation level was 62%. I took her hand, which was very cold, and said "Hi Mom!" and she opened one eye and looked at me. When I asked her how she felt she mumbled "Awful!"
She then went back to being only semi-responsive.
Her BP is now much better and O2 is up to 87% on 100% oxygen... But she is still out of it.
The diagnosis is double pneumonia... But there also may be congestive heart failure.
At her age, I just want her not to suffer... Whether she is called home to God or recovers. What I fear is the horrid middle ground where she winds up with no quality of life in a nursing home and doesn't know who she is, who her family is, or what is happening to her and lingers forever in a medical limbo. She has left orders for no extraordinary measures to save her... And we will honor that. So prayers are needed for the best resolution for her... But God's will be done.

Prayers for you!
My only suggestion is to stay with her or have somebody else stay with her. Nobody wants to die alone, no matter what they say, and you or somebody else should be sitting there with her at all times.
I live next door to a convent and they always have the sisters sitting with a dying sister and they never ever leave them alone.
Pray or read out loud to her. Hearing is the last sense to go, so make sure she hears good words.
And God bless you and your mom.

Almighty God, You know our prayers and desires; we ask you to heal Swordmaker’s mother as You will. Comfort her son and his family. Bring them peace and give the courage. In Christ's name we pray. Amen.

Prayers FRiend.
If it's any consolation, at least it seems by your description she is resting in comfort.
I hope that can bring you some peace of mind.

Look with mercy, Lord, upon Swordmaker’s beloved mother ... wrap both of them in the warmth of Your love, giving comfort and ease throughout these days. Guide the medical team with the greatest wisdom and knowledge, that they might minister to Virginia as unto You. And if it be Your will, return this dear Mom to her family for yet a little while. Job 12:10 ~ In His hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Thank You, O God, that Your loving hand is upon her ... may You ever be praised, in this life and in the next. Amen ...

Prayers for your Mother.
You are right, whatever is God's will - it is good.
But HE gives us the gift of prayer, so we pray for your Mother's recovery. May she not be in pain, nor distressed, nor incapacitated. We pray this in our Lord Jesus' Holy Name.
