U.S. first lady Michelle Obama (R) gives encouragement to her daughter Malia Obama (3rd R) and other children during the White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of the White House April 25, 2011 in Washington, DC. About 30,000 people are expected to attend the 133-year-old tradition of rolling colored eggs down the White House lawn.
Michelle Obama was a floral beauty on Easter in a safflower print day dress. The Tracy Reese design was perfect for the lovely spring day.
Michelle opted to wear flats. Her hair was styled back in a retro updo.

That’s actually not ugly for a change, imo. Yellow is flattering. She could have taken a few minutes to do her hair, though, or worn a hat.
“Off with her head!” the “flower” queen said.
Were they hatel eggs?
Probably hard-boiled.
LOL, well you probably are more clued in here than I am, but that print’s asymmetry really annoys me. Also that the writer had to point out M in the picture, as if you’d have no idea which one was Michelle Obama.
I think she is indicating that she is on the “right” in the picture.
Looks like Michelle is taking up Decoupage. I didn’t know anybody was still doing that...
Obama (R)
Eh, maybe it is hopeful thinking...=retired?
There it is!!
I was wondering what happened to my grandmother’s kitchen tablecloth. I hope I can get it back.
Heh, yes, but why was the necessary to point that out? Michelle Obama us pretty well-known and is the only person there wearing a floral dress.
“Obama (R)”
R = Right
The reporter did this becaus many people might confuse the tall, hairy, fat creature on the left (Easter Bunny) with Obama who is also tall, hairy, fat creature.
Me, I can tell the Easter Bunny because it is friendly looking.
Yea but so is the Easter Bunny. Aside from being a white, honky, cracker, the resemblance is stunning.
I thought she wore a bunny costume?
I don’t know. Stupid reporter maybe?
THAT is the best montage I’ve ever seen!
>> I hope I can get it back.
Think about it... are you sure you *want* it back?
Hillary could make a pantsuit out of the remaining fabric.
'Tis the famous croquet game in the DC Wonderland featuring the mad Red Queen along with Joe Biden dressed up as the March Hare in a costume made out of his stash of hare implants.
All that's lacking is the live flamingo croquet mallets and the balls made of rolled-up porcupines.
The Mad Hatter is hiding in the White House dining room nibbling without success a magic cookie he hopes will make him grow so big he can tower over the world.
