Please join my in praying for my friend, "J", who will be undergoing brain surgery for a Grade II Diffuse Astrocytoma brain tumor on his temporal lobe close to the brain stem. His surgery is scheduled for Thursday, March 3rd, but I don't know the time yet. Through the Livestrong Foundation, he was able to line up one of the best neurosurgeons at the Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.
Omigosh!
Sorry to disappoint some of you but language intact baby. Surgery went okay but details tomorrow. (c;”
That is awesome! PTL!
Thank you so much for the updates! Please...keep us informed.

Continued prayers.
Prayers for a speedy and complete recover, in Jesus name Amen!!!!
Praise be to you, Lord Jesus Christ, for such good news!
:)
J was actually released from the hospital in less than 48 hours after surgery. He stayed around for more tests, but should be coming back to Texas Saturday.
As normal, they didn't remove all of the tumor because of the risk of losing language and memory ability because of the tumor's proximity. From the analysis of the tumor, they were hoping that only 3-5% of the cancerous cells were dividing. It turns out that 0% are which is a major PRAISE. The tumor was creating hypercellular cells rather than cancerous ones
J looks great in the pictures with the only down side being a large scar on the side of his head shaped like a question mark. After many questions/jokes about what superpowers he was given during the brain surgery, J writes,
"Superpowers: appreciating friends more, having a riddler costume scar (the rest will come out slowly). THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT, PRAYERS AND KINDNESS."
He told me that he read your comments on this thread and really appreciates your prayers(and so do I).
Thank you so much for the update. :)
My Nieces brain tumor turned out to be a benign auditory nerve neuromma.
She says the best part of it...she is saving tons of money buying books.
She can give it a week and re-read the same on over an over.
Tell him when he gets back to Texas, we will get together and compare our question marks! Glad to hear of the prayers answered, and more prayers up for J and a speedy recovery.
Very good news indeed! Praise the Lord.
Prayers continue
OH my gosh this is great news! Wow; just wow. Thanks for the update. Prayers continue.
Great news! Thank you for the update and Godspeed to J.
We'll welcome J back to Texas with open arms!
Thank you for the update!
Prayers up for your niece.
Thank you.
That is awesome news!
PTL!
