Prayer for Friend's Brain Surgery

Please join my in praying for my friend, "J", who will be undergoing brain surgery for a Grade II Diffuse Astrocytoma brain tumor on his temporal lobe close to the brain stem. His surgery is scheduled for Thursday, March 3rd, but I don't know the time yet. Through the Livestrong Foundation, he was able to line up one of the best neurosurgeons at the Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.

My best friend...my maid of honor in my wedding over 40 years ago...was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer over a year ago.
She has been cancer free for over half of that time, and I expect her to remain cancer free.
I will tell you this...technology and God are a tough combination to beat.
My prayers go out for your friend.

I missed the fact that he’s at Duke! They have THE best medical staff in the world!
My daughter needed a pediatric neuro-opthomologist, and that’s where we found one. Isn’t that title a mouthful! lol
He’s in good hands at Duke. I know...I’ve been there.
