To make a long story short.... as a child, my brother saw a demon outside our window (back then you had to have the tv by a window because of heat generated). He saw this demon "dancing" around our window. He has been plagued w/ nothing but horror.
Now, in these days, he has over come his demons; however, his first born son has seen this demon, a few months ago, outside his window. His first born son described to him ( at first reluctant that he would not be believed) the same thing my brother saw as a child. My brother was stunned.
We need help. I truly believe in satan and his demons to be as real as we are. What can we do? Who do we turn to?
Some may see this as nonsense, but we are living this in real life. Can anyone help us or at least lead us to someone who can help?
Interesting thread. Everyone from non-believers to bible thumping exorcists.
Here’s the deal. A demon that stands around your window.....what the heck kind of demon is that. A demon that says boo? A demon is a big bad monster from hell, it could turn you to ashes with a glance. That’s why God has arch angels, who could also turn you to dust with a glance.
You’ll KNOW when you have a problem, when you’re turned to dust.....etc. A mortal shaking a bible at it would probably just piss it off.
Forget the TV renditions of spooks, ghosts and demons and certainly don’t listen to internet exorcists.
Now you're talkin' !
Dude...
Africa is ridden with tales of demon possession.
As is Haiti.
As is Papua New Guinea.
and on
and on
Thanks for the ping Lucy.
I’ll say prayers. In my life I have known of others having strange experiences and certainly wouldn’t disregard it. I would have a Priest bless my house and family.
No occult activity within either house....as long as we know anyway.
Thx.
Will check it out.
“A mortal shaking a bible at it would probably just piss it off.”
Yeah, I’d best leave exorcism to the professionals (like the Pope). I don’t think you’ll get rid of demons by timidly picking up a Bible and saying “Um, Jesus loves you?”
Start with 1 Cor. 13. and do more research.

1 Corinthians 13
1 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

The Perfect has come. And He has driven out the demons.
Thank you. I just called my brother and told him to have his Priest come and bless it. I told him that is the only way.
If it is a real demon, the Priest will know and act accordingly....I pray.
I was pinged to this thread and can offer nothing except prayers for your brother and his son that he takes your advice. Please update when you can.
I would track down 2-3 groups, with competent balanced, experienced leaders . . .
preferably at least one or 2 of them with some training from Derek Prince and a good track record of great discernment and great success in the deliverance ministry without a lot of flakiness.
BONDAGE BREAKER is a great book
Also, THE BAIT OF SATAN.
And, likely the home/house needs a spiritual house cleansing wherein all idols, satanic music etc. etc. etc. needs to have associated confessions and repentances and then to be broken up, burned, tossed out etc.
There should also be prayer regarding ancestral spirits coming down following through the generations.
The leaders should be able to hear Holy Spirit about how such things gained an entry into the family lives and those things should be repented of and those doors shut and sealed with the Blood of The Lamb.
Search out 2-3 such groups and ask as many questions as you can about their levels of experience, evident anointing, training, etc. and their track record of success as well as humility, balance etc. Go with the one that feels most potent and fitting for your situation.
have the house blessed by a priest and it will leave
I will pray for your brother and nephew. IMHO I would contact a priest. He will be able to do a blessing and advise you spiritually. They are trained for dealing with people in crisis (whether it is sin or evil). The interesting point is both your brother and nephew saw it OUTSIDE, right? In both cases, it hasn’t moved inside. Bless your family and stay strong with God. Invoke His name.

The second kind of private revelation comes through apparitions. The person who receives an apparition is not necessarily far along in the spiritual life, though they are typically humble and simple souls. ...
Private Revelations Without Roman Approval. Since most private revelations and alleged apparitions never receive the approval of the Holy See Catholics must often judge for themselves whether they are credible. If the person (whether living or dead) has a reputation for sanctity..then clearly any mystical revelations have considerable credibility prior to any formal evaluation by the Church. The witness of prudent priests, especially the spiritual director of the person, is a key element in determining credibility. However, even here care must be taken. The spiritual director himself must be competent in mystical theology, credible as a person and in good standing with the Church.
False mystics have been known to “shop” for gullible, extremely aged or incompetent directors. Ideally, a bishop upon hearing of an alleged mystic would assign a competent director, thus insuring the authenticity of the evaluation.
In the case of apparitions, however, they often occur to obscure individuals with little or no reputation. Their human credibility may rest initially on the attitude of the local clergy and the personal experience of observers. There may or may not be phenomena which suggest something out of the ordinary. The message may or may not be appear to be consistent with Church teaching. The person or persons may or may not have a competent spiritual director. Finally they may or may not be investigated by the local bishop to determine if they are credible.
In the end the faithful are often left to fend for themselves in a perplexing sea of information. ...
Certainly, however, the faithful benefit the most from the judgment of the bishop of the diocese in which the apparition occurs. He has the authority to assemble a commission of scientific and theological experts, to judge the case, as well as the grace of vocation to carry out this pastoral service. While his decision is not infallible...
With respect to any disciplinary precepts the bishop makes concerning the apparition and its site, they should be followed faithfully (e.g. what sacraments, if any, may be celebrated there). No Catholic should ever violate the practical norms laid down by the local bishop with respect to an alleged apparition, even if intellectually they disagree with his conclusion regarding the alleged apparition. ....
My point was if NGZ has a real demon, he/she will have to go to a higher source for protection. Last I checked, God doesn’t post to FR.....
That is what my brother told me. If my parents lied to him about it (BIG SHOCK)so be it.
I think you need to do a more comprehensive study of the scriptures and not cherry pick. It’s just not true that demonic involvement on our plane ended with the apostolic age. There is not a reputable theologian alive or dead that would assert that. Sorry but you’re just wrong here.
