I am sorry I'm late and I haven't been here for a couple of weeks and won't be today. I'm still "Christmas'ing" with lots to do, as we all are.

Today's opening is another repeat, but know how much you enjoy Susan Boyle's music.

This was beautiful, Billie....graphic and song! Thank you. I will be off today also, we all have so much to do at the moment, it may be that way for a while. I am going to run a few errands as the roads are looking quite good, even though the temperature is 22 and will not be higher than that!

It was 9 here this morning and they reported the wind chill factor made it feel like 2 below! Just terrible!

Reindeer Gender

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid December. Female reindeer retain their antlers until after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to every historical rendition depicting Santa’s reindeer, every single one of them, from Rudolf to Blitzen........had to be a girl.

We should’ve known when they were able to find their way.

It was animated and had too many bytes, so I stopped the animation and it took the bytes way down. The fireplace was burning, the tree was flickering and it was snowing outside that window and I had to stop it all. No one would know if I hadn’t told! LOL! Its surprising what animation adds to some graphics.

Thank you, teenie. I am sitting on the couch with heat on my back! It helps some.

Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Shoes Haiku






Shoes are wondrous things
Snug and smooth an shiny. With
their own Teething Rings!

My Pretty One has
tall, narrow Shoes. Some with straps
They're the Best for naps!

Head elevated
Tail curled low. A pleasant nap
not under rated!

Narrow straps are fun
to munch. A treasured treat to
savor before lunch

Shoes come in boxes
like presents. An idea
that makes me content

The shoes come out first
The box calls me to jump in
and stay for the night

The noisy paper
rustles and sighs. It tears and
shreds before my eyes

The paper makes a
fleecy coccoon. Inside a
box from now 'til Noon!
