I had two opinions in the past two days. I saw a missile in the sky over California. Is saw an Islamic crescent in the Google logo. You didn't see it? Fine.
But the invective, the insults, the bitterness this launched has shocked me to the core. What in the heck is going on here?

Because of the internet and anonymous forums. It gets people all worked-up, and enables people to do and say stuff they never would, if they were face to face with people. It gives people a sense of superiority, especially when a number of like-minded people to get together.
And it pisses me off..tht they would use a cougar claw that way!!
Sorry Dude but I’ve taken off out of John Wayne a few times and we did not go straight up. If a commercial airplane ascended at that angle the passengers would be pressed back agains’t their seats from the G-Force. Lets just be real about this. We live in a surreal time with a Muzzie lovin Commie in the Whitehouse and the whole world is steamed about the QE2. Its time to wake up and deal with the fact that a weakling in the Oval Office equals unwanted advances from our enemies and competitors. The Chi Coms probably launched an ICBM near LA to show their total unhappiness with Bernanke and QE2. What is Oblahblah going to do about it? Nothing. They know it. WE get to live with it for 2 more years. Welcome to Hell.

And I think people who say things like that (it’s like people who see Obama’s face on their toast) are being over the top mean. Why? Why not just say, I don’t see it? But no, you have to insinuate the person is crazy for even mentioning it. THAT is what this thread is about.

One of my best friends is a State employee. I love him as a brother As a tax payer I don’t think what he does is worth what we’re paying him. As his friend I’d be devastated if he lost his job.
There is pain coming we haven’t even dreamed of.
